This captures the essence of the British spirit, of British blokes becoming the men that this country does and will depend on to keep the world from getting out of control.
Watching this brings back memories. I wish I could do it all again. In reality now at 55 I wouldn’t make it until the first Nafi break. Great to show my kids and say I once did that. Good effort topman

I was wondering if you could put me through some training to get me prepared for when I can enlist, as you know there is a massive halt in the CW applications. I don’t mind you videoing it, as I believe it would be good content. Anyway thanks for videos, keeps the dream alive!
Have any of these lads passed the all arms course? It's just I don't see their commando patch's on their shoulder. Plus why no weapon when climbing the ropes?
I believe this is the all arms commando course? One of the instructors called one of the men ‘sir’ suggesting officers and enlisted are thrown in together for the course. Might be wrong though
@@davidspratt4112 29 pre beat up course before going to CTC. Done now at Oakhampton. It “was” 4 weeks, then 12 weeks at CTC. Only 50 % go forward from here to CTC with 20% pass rate there, things might have changed since I was there
I’ve noticed one recruit hasn’t yet presented himself, some say he will never pass out from Oakhampton, and some say he just doesn’t want to, he has a symbiotic connection with the place, a recruit that never never moans about what test he’s put through next or about the weather he has to endure, ever ready for the task in hand, he has the names of many inscribed on his body, not because he wants to, but because it’s his job, a job he has without error for years carried out without so much has an objection to his duty, I and many others knew him as...GUNNER LOG!!! Please tell me the training staff still have him, or has the snowflake training standards outlawed his use, wouldn’t surprise me, lmao.

I have try several times to join army in my country .. it's not working out...I just found that I can join uk army if in Commonwealth country... please fibziy I need your help ..in my life I can see I was born to be a soldier. But not getting any help
@@trendinggh4123 you apply via British army website commonwealth troop. I believe there are a few yt videos online on yt explaing how commonwealth apply and get through. Now on the site depending on what role you want it will explain the physical fitness requirments needed.

@@craigross4971 - what 'climbers technique' are you referring to? Do you not realise that the Royal Marines are the UKs mountain troops? They have an entire specialist branch called Mountain Leaders who's whole role is cliff assaults/mountain warfare. If there was any other way of climbing a rope with kit on the RM would use it.
So many people have joined the armed forces because of this guy it's incredible.

I dont get why he keeps saying commando and then puts British army. Commando's are royal marines in the royal navy not in the British army. Correct?
