A bit of a weird selection, in my honest opinion, I don't get why you chose Ibanez AZ as one of two superstrats, I'd definitely put Suhr Modern in its place, a guitar that, together with Charvel, certainly provided at least some the basic idea for AZ, so it would be the logical choice for a list of guitars that will be copied in the next 50 years. And the Acoustasonic? While sounding good on paper, it fails to really deliver excellent acoustic and electric sound. It's great, but not 2000$ great, and that price point, along with it being a kind of a gimmick, probably means that it won't really reach the large audience Fender had in mind. But I do agree that the idea has a lot of potencial, if done better and cheaper, it could really change the guitar world.
I honestly would put the AZ in #1 as a proud owner of a Premium. While the Suhr Modern started it all, in most of the cases things that started a trend didn't become as popular as stuff that carried that trend. Popular players are also a factor, because Polyphia and Chon for example are the leading bands in their genre that gets bigger and bigger, no offense but I can't really think of any Suhr artist that has hit that level yet
The greatest looking Charvels come in Specific Ocean (basically Surf Green), Shell Pink is a distant second. On a serious note, the Charvels have the Seymour Duncan SSL-6 Neck/Middle and JB Humbucker in the Bridge, which makes it uber-versatile.
Ok so I’ll give you the James Valentine Signature, as for as the Fender acoustasonic...well it’s just Fenders take on the Taylor T5 that’s been around for years and to be honest is much more appealing to look at. The Strandberg is horrendously ugly(just my opinion though) and as for Strat copies, well those two in particular could be replaced with hundreds of other modern Strat copies. BTW, Fender owns Charvel.
idk, honestly I'd take an acoustasonic over a T5, it's generally cheaper and the T5 only has 1 setting that sounds acoustic-y, although I'd much rather just play a real acoustic guitar, electric acoustic tone is never really great imo
Cool idea for a video but the finished product comes off very boring and devoid of any real purpose to watch the video imo its just a 2 minute look at cool guitar endorphin rush that means absolutely nothing the moment I turn off my phone. Inject more personality!
I dunno, with the Ibanez and charvel they seemed more about the feature set than anything else, and that don’t make a classic. But then it’s kinda like, most new guitars I see are just rehashing the classics anyway so how do you pick a future classic?! I agree with the other 3, and swap out the strats for the st Vincent signature and the PRS silver sky. Vincent for the originality, sky for being born of controversy, and both for being wielded by two of the few modern guitar heroes.
I think none of the guitars have to mojo which guitars had in the past centuries. There is no remarkable Band of which you can tell: Oh yes, thats the typical Ibanez AZ123123xy sound.
I know it’s just my opinion, but if you’re going to have a music man on this list it should be a JP6. Petrucci has the best selling line of signature guitars second only to Les Paul himself.
I'd like to see the Yamaha Revstars enter the halls of the classic.
Chris Franklyn thanks to Chris buck it will be one day
Are revstars that gud?
They are 💯💯💯
St Vincent?.
for sure!
nope
It looks pretty cool
I honestly think that one deserved the first place.
2 guitars that are basically just (very good) modern superstrats? Not sure I agree there.

You can't think of Guthrie Govan?
Suhr are way too expensive I think
@@miskolinaccc Guthrie Doesn't play Suhr anymore
Agree. Lot's of crap. Isn't it?
I find the lack of D’Angelico quite surprising
What is the guitar that the guy is playing right at the start of the video? 0:00

They have the Full Shred in the bridge, not the JB
Nice to see you enjoying the yamaha sgv I love mine, it's a 67, just quirky and brilliant
Thanks for the video Joe!
I love guitar nerds, great content... Glad to see you back, please make more videos, pronto......! PRS silver sky, nebula....?
If this is top 100 list, 98.9% will be bake maple lol
The AZ, in my opinion, is a perfect guitar. Absolutely love mine. Does it all, and well.
what's that guitar joe is playing in the intro?
You completely missed Reverend. The best of classic designs with their own twist. A lot of those are like 80s superstrats.
Why isn't Relish guitars here?
strandbergs will be classics that's a fact
Hard not to make waves when your company single-handedly brings the headless guitar back from the dead.
Suhr?
No 2 should've been musicman majesty or JP15.
Where's the PRS Vela and the yamaha revstar
Great list! Although i think Novo should have a place on the list as well 😄
Strandberg for sure. The rest are more or less modernized classics.
Strandbergs are modernized Steinbergs 🤷🏻♂️
@@sketchyold
Combined with Fenders no less.
Strongly disagree with everything hahaha
Majesty?

Abasi Guitars are definitely going to be a modern classic as well 🤘😎🤘
Why would you tease us with the yamahas and then dont choose them?
What took you guys so bloody long??/ i missed this show!!11
OOOOOOOHHH i wanna buy these these are great guitars for sure
Cool idea for a video but the finished product comes off very boring and devoid of any real purpose to watch the video imo its just a 2 minute look at cool guitar endorphin rush that means absolutely nothing the moment I turn off my phone. Inject more personality!
No St. Vincent?! For shame!
Yeah her model is excellent.

The PRD John Mayer silver sky strat will definitely be one and the acoustasonic is ehhhhhhhh
MM Majesty a no show? Lol
It's already a classic because of Petrucci
all of the MM Petruccis are classics already
More vids....
glad to see my AZ on this list! (especiallt higher than the Charvel lol)

Really?
