  • The city of Baltimore filed a lawsuit Monday night against the owner and manager of the ship that crashed into the Key Bridge.
The court documents argue the ship's parent company should be held liable for crashing into the bridge.
The Mayor and City Council of Baltimore are demanding a jury trial.

Some body needs to be prosecuted for all the deaths related to the ship wreck

if the families don't file a suit, I would expect their employer, or their work union may step in and handle that part. It's still early in the game but time will tell.

The city failed to update safety barriers to protect the bridges foundation... But clearly the ship needs to pay up

It sounds like a clear cut case, a certain mariner company is gonna be more bankrupt than MC Hammer n knows it.

How many people have to die before "thoughts and prayers go out to the families"? (When the people killed in this incident Are mentioned at all, it's [almost] always very briefly/ casually rushed over).

Hey if they move the ship out of the way it might restore the flow to the channel and improve the visibility in the water for the workers.

There's really no way to put a true price tag on the cost of this bridge being destroyed. But they should take the burden off the taxpayers completely.
