The late 90s and early 2000s were the best years of my life.
Same here dude, those were my childhood years.
Yess!
Good times
Same
Same 92 gang
I miss the 90's, the world was so different before terror attacks and social media.
Not really terror attacks so much as it's orchestrated Marxist efforts to subvert or dismiss all of our rights entirely.
EDIT: I guess in that sense it is still a terror attack, but it's really better said as a terror "campaign."
@@diydunder3377 less Marxism and/or capitalism, more like 90s did come back, in form of cyclic time.
The world has been the same shit for the last 30 years, it's just running even faster than before
The US carried out terrorist attacks for centuries against peoples and nations. What the hell are you talking about?
There were lots of terrorist attacks and the looming possibility of nuclear war. They weren't simple or innocent times just because there wasn't Facebook or Snapchat. People were smarter, though.
@@DarkReapersGrim1 they forget when they inflict it on others, only remember when it happens to themselves.
Kid of the 80's. Teen/young adult of the 90's. Doesn't get better then that. Gen Xer here.
Edit* added young adult for clarification 😉
Here. Although I'm considered an older Millennial.
90's kids are millennials, not X'ers
Crazy Monsoon reread my comment. Born in the late 70's so definitely an gen Xer, sorry
I'm 52 and I have seen way, way too much. Feels like it's going to hell now.
PG trojka sounds about right. I graduated high school in 95. Depends where you search. Some sites say I'm borderline millennial/Gen X or full on Gen Xer. I would definitely consider myself the latter though.
That's ME in Twin Peaks "hey look what we found!" clip around the 6:00 mark. It's from one of my Retro videos called "Journey to the Mall," which you can see in full on my channel. Features my gf at the time and I walking around town and going to the local mall in 1990. I have a playlist of all the Retro videos I've done over the years, ranging from 1981-2003. Been video blogging since 1990! Hope some of you will stop by and hit that 'ol nostalgia button with me!
Yup.... I’m subscribing.
What is the title of the playlist in question?
Thank you so very much for continuing the yearly series
Man I turned 16 that year.
I never conquered rarely came
16 just held such better days
Days when I still felt alive
I couldn't wait to go outside.
The world was wide, too late to try
The tour was over we'd survived
Dang, I turned 16 literally days ago. I love Adam's song.
@@kyokari4 its all down hill haha
80s to 90s. Crack for everyone.
And now i cant wait to go home🤣
When you realize that 90's started 30 years ago! OMG! I'm so damn old!
Edit: Thanks for the likes! Never had this many likes my entire TH-cam life. 😂😂😂
Yes, well, some of my customers lately were born when I was 18. 1994. It is sobering.
Hey we are not old, we just age like fine wine!
@@jameysummers1577I feel you! 😂😂😂
@@shellysbrewing I dunno. I've met a few that seem to have gone straight to vinegar. ; )
Yeah it's depressing!
I was 8 going on 9 in 1990. Good times man, good times. And I still remember the 2 Live Crew case (RIP Fresh Kid Ice🙏 😢), Flatliners was such a cool movie it doesn't get remembered often.
So much time and effort must have been put in researching and editing this video. Thank you, Weird History!!
Thanks for keeping this up... great to watch
Can’t believe you didn’t talk about TMNT movie being released in March
These videos are way too short >_> So many more important things completely ignored in just under 20 Minutes...
They did mention TMNT in the Jim Henson section.
I have that movie I watch it all the time still
Birth year baby, here we go! Not like I've been waiting my whole life for this.
Same here est 1990
Nostalgia is a funny thing! (Such a great series!)
OMG, so happy this video is up! Please, Weird History keep up the decades! The 1940's would be crazy as hell.
Thank you for making these videos! I love them! :D
My greatest memory: Not being a Freshman anymore.
Seriously, high school kids today have only heard the legends. They never saw the far more horrifying reality.
1990 was the year I became a freshman. It was gruesome.
What horrifying reality was it exactly? I'm from Pakistan and i really wanna know
@@hussein7517 the big hair, the weird names, the extremely cruel teenagers, hazing, awful fashions, a bunch of really terrible pop music, no tolerance of anyone who was different, living in fear of HIV, constantly worrying about whether or not you'll be beaten senseless because you sat at the wrong table in the cafeteria, gym class, being reminded every five minutes that you need to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life because high school isn't forever, etc. Every day was like running an obstacle course with no definite end and with changing rules. I didn't enjoy it even a little, to be honest.
@@TheGelasiaBlythe yeah i know that feeling about worrying about your future. I graduated in 2018 so highscool is pretty fresh to me
1999 was the year I became a freshman and it was already so much better than the stories I heard growing up.
Oh yes the 90's , makes me feel old, probably because I am.
Ditto.
Yep.
Would love to see 1970s in the next season!! Love this
Yes it would be great if he does the 1970s Timeline next.
Any decade apart from the 90's would be great, my life got flushed down the toilet in the 1990s.
th-cam.com/video/JpcZYVY9Xlc/w-d-xo.html
I've been expecting this more than I thought, I even smilled when I saw it. Thank you very much!!!
THANK YOU. Waiting for the rest of the 90's
I have two takeaways from this
1- I was born in '80, so this was my coming of age decade
2- This was 30 years ago...I feel ancient now.
Exactly how I feel. In fact I was around for the last 2 years of the 70s. I feel so old.
You are ancient Dan, don't worry I am also lol 😂
I also came of age in the 90s. Born in 1982. ❤
It's 41 year's ago
@@theworldoverheavan560 he’s taking about the video. Not his age.
The 90s were my early teenage years then turned 20 in 98. And no matter how bad people thought the 90s were, I wouldn't trade it for now.
Same here and TOTALLY AGREE!✌🤘
The 90s after 96 were a boring, bland mess outside of video games.
You should have lived through the 70s! Tons Cooler than the 90s!!
@@jiaconis Wul, I mean, I was born in '81 🤗💜
There are SOME things I like about now. But, yeah, as crazy as the 90's were, I'd love to have some of that decade back!
I was 10 years old and in the 5th grade in 1990, and remember all of this- even the Kibbles 'n Bits commercial. The 90s were the best decade ever and I honestly, sincerely feel bad for anyone who didn't get to experience it.
I love your videos, the way you edit them is phenomenal. GREAT JOB. Can't wait for 1991.
I remember in the late 90s as the decade was coming to a close I would take the time to just take in my surroundings, the technology, the vibe, just everything that the decade was about so that I would remember what I experienced and how special the decade was for the rest of my life. Now over 20 years since it ended, I'm so glad I did because those memories gives me strength when life gets me down especially now serving in the military its something to fall back on to boost morale.
Very astute of you. Most of us take the present for granted.
I hear you😉 I love these kind of time machine shows.
90's is the best when it comes to video games and junkfoods. Its the definition of my childhood.
"1999 was just days away"?! Pssh... I wish I could have just skipped middle school and high school that easily.
Lol thought i was the only one that noticed that error
So excited timeliness is back
I am thankful for what you did for the 80's. No 70's. Always grateful
We need more of these decade video series please.
This gives me such nostalgia for what the History Channel used to be
I miss the 1990s, best time of my life.

wtf are you talking about lmao
@@bobhill9845 Read my comment. Hopefully, you will understand.
My husband and I were born in the 70's. It was a good era to live through. As teens in the 80's most of us were jealous of 60's teens. The people I talked to who were the 60's teens said it was awful, except my hippie biker aunt.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! What amazing events!
---TIMELINE ROCKS---
The hairstyle “the Rachel” is now known as “the Karen”.
I figured he'd mentioned "The Clooney" too after that! LoL
either way it really sucked
I think the haircut Kate from John and Kate Plus Eight had back int the 00s is the EPITOME of the Karen -- she's a mom, she's middle aged, overbearing, feels entitled to police others and WILL be asking to speak to the manager lol
I thought that was that haircut that was short in back longer in front
@@lesliesauceman8093 it is, and Davy is wrong. The Rachel is a totally different style.
