The Operation Theatre Department at SMBBIT proudly organized its very first 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩, focusing on the challenges and advancements in suture techniques. This workshop aimed to enhance knowledge of trauma care in the operation theatre and to provide hands-on experience in advanced suture skills.
With 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧 leading the way through transformational leadership, this event featured two engaging sessions:
1. Presentations on trauma care and its quick facts.
2. Practical suture technique training.
𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
A total of 42 participants attended, with 69% from external institutions, making this an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
