  • When we are camping the last thing we want to spend a lot of time on is going back and forth leveling our camper at our site. In this video, we show you how to install the LogicBlue LevelMatePro+ inside of an RV travel trailer and just how easy it can be to level your RV or travel trailer. The setup took around 30 minutes total to do with a lot of back and forth to the truck and trailer and I would highly recommend that before you do anything you spend the time to level your trailer to near perfect. If you have slideouts, it is an option to keep them in or out during the initial leveling, but I would recommend putting them out as you level and then pull them in during the installation. The other consideration is where you will actually mount the LevelMatePro+ inside your trailer, again, my recommendation is to put it somewhere easily accessible so that when you are pulling into your spot you can turn it on easily.

    Product Description:
    LevelMatePRO+ is a wireless vehicle leveling system that accurately reports how much height is required to reach a level position and tells you where that height is needed. It connects with your smartphone or tablet, where an easy-to-use app displays the needed leveling information. LevelMatePRO+ was designed for use with both drivable and towable vehicles. You can monitor leveling data as you pull into a site, allowing you to pick the most level spot before you park. For towable vehicles, LevelMatePRO+ allows you to save and recall your hitch position for quick and easy reconnects to your tow vehicle. LevelMatePRO+ is recommended for use with RV's, camping trailers of all kinds, food trucks, mobile medical vehicles, concession vehicles, mobile emergency command post vehicles, race car trailers, horse trailers, and more. Simplify your vehicle setup, reduce setup time, and increase safety with the LevelMatePRO+ system. Start the LevelMatePRO+ app as soon as you reach your destination. As you pull into each potential site, the app will dynamically display accurate information about how to level the site is. If a site will require too many blocks to get your vehicle level, or if your jacks won’t reach the ground, you can move on and try a different spot. LevelMatePRO+ was designed to be accurate. We believe using the best hardware is essential to creating a great product, so we selected a high-quality 3-axis digital accelerometer to accurately calculate angles and height requirements. An onboard digital temperature sensor is carefully calibrated to ensure that accuracy is maintained over a wide range of operating temperatures.

    It does not need to be installed with label facing forward, it all can be changed in setting no matter which way you instal it

      This is true - I should have mentioned that it can be installed anywhere and adjusted accordingly for leveling. Thanks for pointing this out - I'm going to pin your comment!

    Nice tool. Good tutorial. We're buying a travel trailer this week and are hemorrhaging money on things needed just to get to the point we can use it. I'll stick to the carpenters level until we get some of the initial set up costs paid for. Other than that, I'll put this thing on my "to buy" list.

    Thanks for the video! I can't wait until I get my replacement. My unit came with the battery already installed, worked to check the signal, then started cutting out. I thought the battery might have been bad and opened the unit. The plastic clip that holds the battery was broken. So, I guess my word of caution is becareful installing and removing the battery. Mine looked like the two back clips were both cracked and the left one part of the tab had come off completely at that cracking point. I'm so bummed! I've had so many friends say this setup was really helpful.

      Wow! I also received a unit that had already been put into operation. I thought that I was getting a new unit. At lease that's what I paid for, but they decided to send me what was probably a returned unit. So I sent it back for a refund. Wasn't taking any chances. Sorry that happened to you.

    It seems in the instructions (#1) that you should have your slide outs extended and then level the TT before setting the level on the app. Is that correct?

    so at the end when its all level if you put your slide out does it still show level or will it be off?

      Great question. It's dependent on the ground, and if there is any shifting while you set up, but I haven't had any issues where I have to relevel.

    Just curious, If someone does not have a slide, can;t you just simply bring the devise inside(A Shop Environment) and set it up exactly level . Than set level. I assume if you mount it on a good solid location of the camper, it will work just fine. Any thoughts?

    • @smorervfun
      @smorervfun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. I see your point. Maybe part of that is if I set it up not level inside the camper, such as how I mount it, the device wouldn't be level.

    Great video. I received mind today and upon conducting an inventory for compete parts, I noticed the battery had already been installed in my unit. I'm reluctant to keep it or send it back. I don't why they would send me a used piece of equipment?

      @@smorervfun, Thanks for the advice, however I followed my intuition and returned it for a full refund. After paying $130 dollars for a new unit and didn't receive one, that didn't rest well with me. They didn't give me the option of buying a used vs a new unit. I made a good choice to send it back.

      Yes - However, if it gets really hot inside the area where you mount it the tape could peel / slide unleveling it. At least by screwing it in its more secure.

      @@smorervfun thanks for the reply! I don’t have any cheap paneling in my storage area. Just the framing. If I use screws it looks like it would go right through the interior wall. And I don’t really want to drill holes inside. I’ll look to see if I can find another mounting location.
