I'm happy to see those familiar faces in this period of quarantine! Being unable to play magic with friends and leave the house, I'm pretty happy to see you guys are still playing
Have you tried skyping? My friends and I have done that since we all graduated and moved our separate ways and it works pretty fine other than you see playmats instead of faces
Of all the things that happened this season let it be known that my all time favorite is Justin's commitment to posing as his commanders. I love it, and I hope that it continues. Thank you.
Jeremy died with an Aetherize in hand, there was like 50 different lines he coulda took on those last 2 turns and 1 of them lead to him losing. He chose that 1.
It's really not. Jeremy could easily have pushed through that without going to his commander for damage; he just chose to shoot down irrelevant targets instead. High life totals are cute, but they're not actually particularly relevant without a strong board state.
1:09:54 Jeremy reveals arjun of the shifting flame in his hand which he could of free cast with as foretold. Then he had 3 mana he could of used to cast 3 1 mana spells. After each cast, arjun triggers, and he'd take that huge grip of cards he has and put it on the bottom of his library, and then draw that many cards. He could of done this 3 times! Directed all the ping damage at Stephen and his board, and killed the other two with the triggers from psychosis crawler. I feel real bad for the guy but that was a huge punt
@@tylerquintana3962 He could have done both, which is the problem. He's notoriously pretty bad at following good lines when he has too many options to pick from. Ultimately it doesn't really matter since he still wins the season, but it's still a bit annoying to see someone pilot a deck so poorly.
I usually really like watching Jeremy play but he absolutely could have destroyed most of Stephens board and still won this game. It hurt to watch honestly
For all you lot talk about Jeremy missing things, it's you that missed the most key piece of information that was given away before the game even started: Jeremy wanted to lose the game so he could shave his beard. Maybe it's YOU that should be paying more attention here!
Watching Jeremy play this deck is a little painful. Time and again he has cards that would put him in a really good position and he instead just discards them to instead have no advantage.

Now in the next in between seasons game, director Kyle, would you please do us a favor and give the Niv Parum deck to Jon so he can show jeremy how to play such powerfull deck?
Keep up the good work, good season, lots of variety in the decks and good games. Would have liked to see justin and john go off this game but still not a bad one. Way to get that dub #Team Green
Altar, Exotic Orchard, Fellwar Stone, Chromatic Lantern, more typical "any color" lands... there's lots of ways for a mono-color deck to have access to all colors of mana.
Jeremy played poorly just because he wanted to shave the beard. There isnt any other explanation for how bad he used his niv pings and the tokens. Several 5/5 angels in Stephens board, spend the pings at Justin's face. Attacked with all the tokens leaving no flying blockers. My god Jeremy dont do dirt like that with Niv he doesnt deserve that. xD

First time watching! Please give more info on Stephen Green's deck creator, Charles because I'm pretty high on mono white. Is "Invaldus" a screen name for Stephen Green or Charles?
So. Some are complaining about the missed triggers. Guess what? It happens. They are playing for points that they created and are attempting to have fun with. Those were fan created decks and they had as much fun as they could. I appreciate their works, builds and especially conversation. I met Mr. Parnell at SCG Atlanta last year and they have stepped up their game in the game since then. Would actually like to submit a decklist when I get out of the hospital. (Not Corona related.) Thank you very much.
Am I seeing something wrong or the last 10 minutes of the games was FULL OF misplays and missed triggers? 3-4 mizzet triggers missed. Ancestral vision come down w/o suspend.
@@Treanorium For awhile, at least in Modern, As Foretold + Ancestral Vision was a common thing. He needs a ramp, play big dumb things, profit deck. He's like playing against the 12 year old at your lgs that only knows enough to play the game but not well.
Complicated deck? What's complicated about psychosis crawler and wheeling? He's just an idiot and i think he just doesn't care for Justin much in terms of commander
Jeremy 100% set to put himself in a winning position on his last turn... Could have sent all pings at Stephen or his board, then pass with Aetherize up and some blockers to keep himself safe, convince Justin and John to go after Stephen, then on his next turn finish them all off. But no, he kills 2 defenseless players and makes Stephen king. Should lose season points for that. Jesus that was painful to watch.
