Kudos to Appliance Parts Pros on this video. After receiving the correct Dryer Repair Kit for my Whirlpool Duet Dryer, I followed the instructions on the video step by step and replaced the dryer belt, rollers, and pulley. The dryer started up and ran fine. I appreciated the straightforward yet detailed instructions that allowed a novice to make a successful repair.
Worked like a charm! Had a terrible shrieking sound, replaced all the wearable parts using your kit and youtube video instructions, and we're back doing laundry!
While my dryer model was slightly different in the disassembly, this video was extremely helpful and the replacement parts were perfect. Not only did I save money on calling a repair service, but I also found a $20 in the dryer (along with more lint that you can imagine)! Thank you!
This video was perfect. I'm 71 yo and never rebuilt a dryer before. It was a complete success. I discovered that my problem was a destroyed idler pulley. Now it's good as new. It was a fun project! I am so appreciative !
My Dryer made loud screeching noises, so we thought maybe we needed new dryer since it is 15+ years old. I did research and saw there was a repair kit for $50+ with new belt, rollers so I thought why not try it since new dryers cost $700 to $1000. I had my buddy help me since it talked about needing 2 people. The only issue was removing wire harness in front, it took almost 20 minutes. To my surprise, one of the back rollers was laying in bottom along with metal shavings since large dryer drum was turning on metal. Replaced everything and put back together, along with cleaning years of lint all over. When completed turned back on and dryer ran like new, quiet and also drying faster. Thank you so much for providing such a complete repair kit.
Glad you were able to complete your repair! Glad we were able to help you out. If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.
Well done Matt, we just installed a repair kit to our dryer. Thanks to your video we had no problems and no leftover parts. The dryer runs very quiet now, no loud squeal. Recommend that anyone going to this much trouble also clean out the vent tube all the way to the outside, we collected enough lint to knit a sweater. Thanks for the guidance.
We are SO HAPPY with your quality Whirlpool parts and FAST delivery. I must have hit your shipping deadline perfect, because we had our parts delivered by Fedex only 22 HOURS after ordering using your medium priced “fast” delivery! Folks, spend the extra $3 for “fast” delivery! I did have SEVERAL differences between my dryer and the one in this video, but they were all easily worked around and the job only took 2.5 hours including breaks and looking for a tool lol. Dryer is noise-free now!! Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE which I recommend to anyone in need of a DIY remedy.
This video was awesome. I watched it once thinking, oh my, this is SO much work. But, with step by step instructions, I was able to take apart my dryer, install the kit, and put it back together... And it works! Thank you! I never thought I could get it done.
My dryer was squealing a little, figured was the belt. Got it apart and it was the idler tension pulley needed cleaning and re lubing. Went ahead and cleaned and re lubed the 4 rollers, now my 17 year old dryer runs like new. Thank you!
Thanks for the video! I did the whole kit replacement because I needed to replace the broken belt and figured it was a good time to replace the rollers. Never had experience in doing this before. Went well and better yet it worked when I was finished. Learned a lot while doing it. Not bad for an 80 yr. old.
GREAT video! There were a few differences with my dryer, but overall it took me about an hour. The most difficult step was getting the dryer belt back over the idler pulley and motor. But I took the back of the dryer off and it was on in a jiffy. $30.00 for parts, and this video saved me a ~$150.00 service call. Thank you very much!
Outstanding video that saved us a bunch of money. A few observations: Half of your time will be spent cleaning the lint inside the dryer - vacuum thoroughly, use compressed air to blow lint out of the motor there is a ton in there and lint + spark = fire. Beforehand, empty your vacuum's canister and after you are done vacuuming, dump the contents on a newspaper and go through it for lost items - you will be surprised what you find! The triangular rings (tri-rings) are, on replacement, very difficult to move all the way down the pulley post - if the inner ring looks good, leave it alone and just put a new tri-ring on the outside once the pulley is in place. To remove the old outside tri-ring, use a pair of cutters. The washer for the idler pulley - use this, even if you find a tri-ring was used on the inside position. Clean each pulley with a solvent like denatured alcohol or Gumout on a towel - there is buildup that will keep the pulley from moving a smoothly as it should. Good luck and enjoy the wonderful sound of your repaired dryer!
Video worked perfect for my Maytag dryer too. Best thing ever! Idler pully bearing was shot (squealing and nearly frozen) and belt was starting to split so did the full kit while in there. One thing to note is he wears gloves and you should too. After my second cut on sharp edges I woke up and followed his example.
Do you put any lubricant/grease on the rollers? Seems weird to get let metal on metal rub. Would rather have a ball bearing upgrade if available. Thoughts? Grease? no grease?
Thank you so much for providing videos like this! This is an awesome service and makes DIY repairs so simple and takes away so much of the anxiety that might come from these repairs. I would also like to add that your online chat/customer service is excellent!!! Kelsey was able to order my kit for me while I watched this video. Awesome!! Thanks again!!!
Thanks for posting this. It is an excellent set of step-by-step instructions. I used this video today to repair a Duet dryer purchased in 2005. For us the old pulley seemed to be the problem, as it was squealing when the dryer was running. It is working fine now.
Great video. Big help in my belt replacement Minor suggestion perhaps mention this is a good time to clean out lint that is all over the insides. I'm sure folks will do this once they notice where lint has gathered but a gentle reminder may be good idea.
Same for me! Idler pulley had seized!! This isn't as easy as they make it look though. I'm a handyman but I needed my adult son to help me. What makes it harder is the inside of my older dryer was a bit different and we did one step too much trying to follow what we saw on the screen. But nevertheless...a fantastic video. This CO rules! I have used them for years! Thanks Appliance Parts Plus!
Just used this video to fix my dryer! Other than ending with 2 extra screws, it went perfect! My hardest part was installing the new belt on the tensioner but I paused the video and that was all explained
Best video I found for this fix. My dryer is slightly different but this still fixed it. I installed the whole kit since it has 10+ years of wear on it. The tension pulley was the culprit but there was no reason not to replace everything in the kit since getting the thing apart was really the hard part. Putting on new parts was a breeze.
We don't have the exact model in this amazingly informative video but we followed along, bought the repair kit and installed the idler pulley and now our whirlpool is running like new! Thank you so very much.
I bought the kit for about $50 and did the repair myself. I saved over $250. My unit must be older because there were some slight differences. The vent housing had 4 screws, (no clip), there were no ribbon cables, they were wire bundles with barely enough slack to move out of the way but the biggest difference was the tub orientation. My clip was in the back half. I knew it was wrong but decided to follow your video and assembled the drum and the belt around the gear pulley and as I was spinning it the belt kept moving away. I reversed the drum position and it’s working fine. Mine is stacked in a closet so I used a ladder to get to the top. It was a little tight to get to the screws on the top/back so I used a socket. The most difficult time I had was removing the old triangle washers and moving the new ones down the shaft from the first groove. My dryer is about 16 years old and I just couldn’t see spending over $300 to replace the shredded belt. I am so glad I did this myself. I found about 1/2 lb of lint, sand, pet hair [and a gum wrapper] clogging up the vent just below the lint screen even though I use a long brush to clean it out regularly. Also, the motor coils were compacted with dense, fine lint. There was so much lint and pet hair inside, that I am surprised it didn’t cause a fire. Thank you for an easy to follow video and good deal on OEM replacement parts.
thank you so much, even though my machine was a little older 2008, the video was so helpful. My grandson and I did it together in about 4 hrs. and we had a good time doing it. We saved so much money and I believe it will make it another 10 years, I hope!
This was extremely helpful and I probably saved a couple hundred in labor doing it myself. The kit cost me $24 and a couple hours of time, but that sure saves me money on having someone repair it. Great video :)
Just verified my model number and ordered this kit. My Dryer was making a knock knock sound for like a year. I let it roll, now it started making a horrible racket. Its a chick chick chick bearing noise. I don't feel like taking the thing apart more than once so I'll chock it up to maintenance and replace it all. Your video shows good detail and from someone who has never repaired a dryer, this looks super easy. I will be using your site for any other parts I may need in the future!
Without knowing what you have, I would suggest posting the problem along with the appliance model number on our repair forum and the techs can help you troubleshoot the problem. forum.appliancepartspros.com/
This video was a great help even though my Whirlpool Duet dryer model # WED9500TW@ had a few differences. The biggest difference was the way the console is removed. Mine has a trim ring that goes around the door that is attached to the console but once I figured out that all I had to do was pop the trim loose then lift the console off, everything else went smoothly. Glad I ordered the entire kit, it turned out that the problem was the idler pully locked up and the belt just kept turning and eventually wore a groove in the plastic idler roller pully. That explained why the dryer drum would turn but very slowly and not at all at times. Thanks again.
I just finished getting my dryer back together and everything cleaned up... my first thought was to come here and talk about the difference between the dryer in the video and mine, which coincidentally happens to be just like yours! I know it's a two year old post, I thought I'd just give you a shout out and tell people READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE DOING THE WORK! If I had done that I wouldn't have been as frustrated! Enjoy the day!
I'm about to tackle this same project with our WED9500TW3 and I am expecting the same trim difference. Was the trim piece easy to remove/pop loose? Any screws or tabs I need to be aware of that you remember?
Great video, very easy to follow. Took about 90 minutes for the repair, which included a lot of vacuuming of lint/dust that had gathered throughout the years in the dryer. We've had the dryer for 10 + years, and this was the first repair to it. We originally thought it was time to drop serious money on a new set. Definitely not the case. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for the video! I ordered the parts and had the dryer fixed in 60 minutes. Don’t let the mass deconstruction scare you.. it’s really simple. It also gave me a chance to really clean out the dust and about $2 in coins.
I just bought a used Whirlpool Duet dryer which I am told is noisy. I think all I need is one of these roller/belt repair kits and it should be good as new. Thanks for posting this video!!!!
Great video, was able to fix my Whirlpool Duet dryer. Loud screeching noise, turns out it was the idler puller. The only issue was that my dryer was a newer Whirlpool Duet dryer, the front panel was more difficult to remove that the older model shown in the video. I had to bend it up to access two hidden screws.
Thank you so much! This video was extremely helpful. I had a destroyed belt that covered the inside of my dryer in black dust and shreds. Replaced all the parts easily by following your directions and got to clean the huge mess inside.
OK, so this is an absolutely brilliant video. My Duet dryer is a little newer and a slightly different model, but this showed me what needed to happen and I figured it out. However, am I the only person that thinks the entire dryer should be made out of the "tri-ring" material? Those things were an absolute B**** to get off and they are made of some tuff stuff. I noticed that even the video cut-out a bit while he was removing them - likely to sensor out the swearing involved. Bravo on a great video and thank you very much for producing it.
What is the importance of the silver tab on the tub being towards the front of the dryer? As I took mine apart, they were towards the back. Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much for your easy to follow/understand video.. I just repaired/replaced the rollers/belt on my Kenmore HE5- it was almost identical to the video, except for a grounding wire(easily added step.. ).. saved me some $$ on a repair dude!
Instructions and parts were both excellent. My dryer was making a loud squealing noise. It was a slightly older model than the one in the video, it did not have the computer ribbons just some power clips to disconnect and some wires plugged in to the mother board. Disassembly was also slightly different since there was a decorative piece that covered the switches on the front and the top console did not come off quite the same, since it snapped around the outside of the drum. What was truly interesting (and the probable cause of the squealing), was the original assembly of the idler pulley . There was no washer behind the idler pulley. Instead one of the triclips was installed there without a groove to sit in. Both of the triclips on either side of the pulley were brittle, discolored and showed signs of having been very hot. I installed all of the parts in the kit and they fit fine. The dryer is back running like a champ. I would highly recommend your video and your parts.
This was very helpful. I thought I had identified the squealing of my dryer to be a worn drive belt, flied this took it apart and put it back together only to find its something else in the line. so gotta go get those pieces and try again tomorrow lol hopefully that addresses the issue
Thank you very much for this video, exactly what I needed to know to perform the service myself. Part ordered, arrived as advised, viewed the video and got the job done. Today's a good day!
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!! Exactly what I needed to have enough confidence to replace the pulley myself! And to remember, with the videos help, how to get it all back together! You ROCK!!!
Awesome video. I have the same unit at home that needs fixing (heating element, fuses, etc. but I don’t know the model number for the dryer. Do you know it? I can’t find a plate or sticker anywhere. My dryer is electric not gas.
can you do everything from the back? Do I ahve unhook the moisture meter in the front? the reason I ask is because my dryer is stacked on top of the washer and hards to get to those nuts to unscrew them at the bottom
Good video, however I'm a little concerned about the alignment of the belt. You stated that the belt should go back over the mark on the drum and the silver tab should face out towards the front of the unit. I did it exactly how you said and my witness marks from the belt are not in the same place as neither is yours. I hope the drum is not backwards or does it really matter?
I splurged for the OEM parts. The parts were just right but I struggled on the installation. I couldn't get two of the wiring connections apart. I spent two hours trying then broke off the retention part of the connectors. I suppose that was operator error. Other than that and an hour cleaning lint from everywhere the job went fairly smooth. I rely on Appliance Parts Pros for the right parts.
Overall I got what I needed from this video. Should mention however that your demonstrator installed the drum in backwards. At the @ minute mark on the video, he makes a point to mention the black line that the belt makes on the drum, and proceeds to point right at the opposite side, without the black line. He also mentions that the silver tab going in front, when it actually goes towards the back. I followed the reassembly instructions and even though it went together just fine, I quickly noticed the belt line on the opposite side, and a slight gap around the rear drum felt seal. Funny, when he took it apart it was correct.
I’m taking pictures as I take my dryer apart to help me put it back together since your comment gave me pause. Also using a Sharpie to mark connectors and tub direction. Love these videos-nicely done.
Agreed. I thought I knew which way to put the drum back but when he said the silver tab goes in the front, I turned mine around to match. Sure enough the belt does not ride where it used to set. The drum looks symmetrical so I am going to leave it. I don't think it matters, it seems to spin fine. My drum felt was more worn on one side so maybe rotating it will give it more life. I reply again if it runs funny and I need to turn the drum around.
@@mermalarYes, a Sharpie Magic Marker is always good to make notes on direction, screw sizes, or "Do NOT REMOVE", etc! I will mark my drum direction for future needs! And tic the obvious belt line! I have even started a notes sheet, I tuck inside a zip lock bag, that states every time I have made repairs. This is just to track the life span of Amazon heating elements, and other replacement parts!
Thank you so much, looks like the dryer I purchased used a year ago was worked on before. Someone added grease, and only replaced 3 of the 4 rollers. The pulley was shot and I'm glad I did this asap before the motor went out too.
Thank you so much for taking your time to produce this awesome video. I have the exact same model and did the exact same service. She's running like new. Thanks again.
Our duet was an older model, but similar features to unscrew and unplug. When he was putting it back together, most of the screws were hex head stainless steel except for 3 brass screws. He forgot where they went. He thinks they go on the dryer vent filter cover. The technician sheet doesn’t specify
+Euclid Antunes That's not normal. What went bad? I have had mine for 8 years and I'm just now replacing mine because the belt broke. The rollers are still OK but I'll replace them too since they are included. My dryer was not cleaned out very well and it was smelling and feeling hot and when I opened it up it looks like the belt runs very close to the heating element so I think that could wear on the belt faster, it was also very cracked, I hope for at least another 8 years with my dryer.
How fast the thing wears out depends upon how many kids you have. :D Between my kids, my wife, and I, we wear out laundry equipment pretty dang fast. But seriously though 2 years is way too fast for that stuff to wear out.
This is a great video! I have a Whirlpool #WED9200SQ0, which has a different mother board, control panel, and front, all of which took me an extra hour to figure out how to remove. I had search numerous sites to find figure out how to remove. Never really did find a video, but did some helpful videos. Once you get past that, then everything goes as shown in the video. Also, I have some funky metal piece in the dust cover. Not sure if I put this back right or not. Thanks guys! BTW - you also helped me with repairing my Whirlpool washer last year!
So what exactly is that silver tab that has to face the dryer door. I could have sworn than when i removed the drum the silver rab was towards tbe back. What does matter?
I have a Whirlpool compact front load dryer model WED7500VW that I need to change the start capacitor and do not know how to get to it. Front panel screws are too close to the drum to unscrew and back panel supports the drum. Any ideas?
Good deal , when I took my idler pully off the shaft on the idler arm was scared up , note the inside of the factory roller was smooth , factory defect I guess, replaced the entire idler arm and pulley , this pulley has ball bearings ,note factory didn't. I think it will probobly last a little longer since this is the third time being disassembled for squeaking , I didnt replace guide rollers last time either , this time it's getting belt , rollers and high grade idler pulley, thank you for the video good sir .
Quick question. Is there a way to find out if you need a kit or just the belt without pulling everything a part? My Duet Dryer doesn't spin so I'm not sure if I need a belt or if I need the complete Kit.

Thanks man, made it pretty easy. Difference on mine was a couple of screws on the back of the control panel. Also if you do this and your dryer is full of lint clean it out!
I was able to replace the kit but when reassembled and turned on, the dryer isn’t squealing like it was but it is also not quiet like it should be. Not sure what I could have done wrong.
Same, I just replaced mine and noticed it has a deeper grumbling sound. It seems to be spinning fine, but louder overall. Did yours eventually quiet down after use?
How long did it take to complete? I have a kit arriving soon, and I want to make sure I budget enough time/space (especially with a dog and two small kids running around). Thanks!
We have the Whirlpool Duet gas dryer and we are hearing buzzing, off for about 1 to 2 min. then buzzing for perhaps 1 min.. The entire time dryer is in use it will do this. We replaced the gas solenoid's and it still does it. Anybody know whats going on and what we need???
Thanks for the directions. The only 3 things I would add: 1) when removing the front lower panel I placed the dryer on a 2x4 to help lift the front to access the screws. 2) instead of pulling out the wheel's triangle clips I used wire cutters to clip them as pulling them off was taking too long. 3) when working in the computer board area my model had some anchor clips that needed to be un-anchored to free the cables to avoid pulling them when gaining access to that area. On reassembly I just pushed the anchors back.
@@appliancepartspros thanks. I guess some people use silicone lubricant as a quick and temporary fix. I am just going to clean the posts and install the new rollers and not add any lubricant.

thank you so much, even though my machine was a little older 2008, the video was so helpful.
Glad the video helped you get the dryer fixed!
now i gotta figure out the new problem with the washer! F11 MCU communication problem! ACK!
Without knowing what you have, I would suggest posting the problem along with the appliance model number on our repair forum and the techs can help you troubleshoot the problem. forum.appliancepartspros.com/
This was extremely helpful. Step by Step very accurate and easy to follow. Saved myself a few hundred dollars.
Glad the video helped you get the dryer fixed!
Paul Arthur Thanks, I was a little confused until I read your post! I was having the same problem!
Glad the video helped you get the dryer up and running!
Thanks for the video! I ordered the parts and had the dryer fixed in 60 minutes. Don’t let the mass deconstruction scare you.. it’s really simple. It also gave me a chance to really clean out the dust and about $2 in coins.
Thanks for the video! I ordered the kit and successfully solved my dryer squeal.
Extremely helpful and easy to follow instructions! So happy I did this on my own and didn’t buy a new dryer when the fix was so simple!
Happy to help with the repair!
Great video! followed it step by step and had no problems. Also bought the roller repair kit it suggested and it came the next day. Great service.
Glad the video helped you get the dryer fixed!
Awesome video.Have a question - is it necessary to change out all 4 wheels if only 2 were showing wear & tear? Thank you!
Thank you. Easy to follow instructions. Frozen wheel in back needed to be replaced.
You're welcome!
Awesome video, thank you. Question. Is it recommended to lubricate the pulley and wheels with something like white lithium?
No, those parts do not require any lubricant, it can actually cause the parts to not work properly.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!!! Exactly what I needed to have enough confidence to replace the pulley myself! And to remember, with the videos help, how to get it all back together! You ROCK!!!
Deb, you are most welcome, and thank you for the awesome feedback! We look forward to assisting with your next appliance part repair.
Awesome Deb! I’m fixing my now! 🤞🏾
Awesome video. I have the same unit at home that needs fixing (heating element, fuses, etc. but I don’t know the model number for the dryer. Do you know it? I can’t find a plate or sticker anywhere. My dryer is electric not gas.
7:48 I always forget that putting the belt back on, the image is reversed. Make the loop from the left side around the idler pulley on the right side
Thank you for the tip!
can you do everything from the back? Do I ahve unhook the moisture meter in the front? the reason I ask is because my dryer is stacked on top of the washer and hards to get to those nuts to unscrew them at the bottom
I fixed our loud squealing dryer today with this replair kit and with help from this video! It runs like new now.
Awesome instructions! Thank you!
Glad we have been able to help you out. We look forward to helping you in the future.
I reply again if it runs funny and I need to turn the drum around.
yes!!!! I took tons of pictures and the tab goes towards the back and not the front
Curious if the idler pulley looks intact and the belt had not slipped, would then the motor be the issue with the the drum not spinning?
It is possible that the motor could be bad. What is the model number of your dryer?
Thank you so much for taking your time to produce this awesome video. I have the exact same model and did the exact same service. She's running like new. Thanks again.
Great instructions, learned more than I thought I knew, I feel like I can fix anything now. Thank you very very much.
Our duet was an older model, but similar features to unscrew and unplug. When he was putting it back together, most of the screws were hex head stainless steel except for 3 brass screws. He forgot where they went. He thinks they go on the dryer vent filter cover.
The technician sheet doesn’t specify
Great Video. Can you tell me why they go bad I have it almost 2 years to the date. Is this the normal for these dryers.
+Euclid Antunes What went bad after 2 years, the whole kit?
This worked! watched the video, bought the kit and replaced everything! thank you
You're welcome! Glad we could help you out.
Great video! I ordered the parts and followed it step by step. Totally saved me!
Got your parts, put them in today easy peasy!!!! Thanks Appliance pro's!!!
When I removed the drumb it apparently was in on the wrong direction for years. Is it important to change the direction now
The drum would need to be installed correctly to avoid any unnecessary wear on parts that could cause them to fail quicker.
Thank you for your help! We are back in business!
You are welcome. If we can help you in the future please let us know.
Glad the videos helped you get the washer and dryer fixed!
I have the same model and I'm stuck with how to disconnect and remove the front panel.
So what exactly is that silver tab that has to face the dryer door. I could have sworn than when i removed the drum the silver rab was towards tbe back. What does matter?
Thank you for the video! It is not the dryer I have but it helped out a lot. My dryer has 6 rollers. Thanks for the help!
I have a Whirlpool compact front load dryer model WED7500VW that I need to change the start capacitor and do not know how to get to it. Front panel screws are too
close to the drum to unscrew and back panel supports the drum.
We'd be happy to help you out with that! We offer free technical advice and diagnosis. You can give us a call at 1-877-477-7278 or you can chat us at our website: www.appliancepartspros.com/. Thanks man, made it pretty easy. Difference on mine was a couple of
screws on the back of the control panel. Also if you do this and your
dryer is full of lint clean it out!
Glad the video helped you get the dryer up and running!
So you don't need to lubricate any of the rollers?
Why is it necessary to put the metal clip on the drum towards the front? And my whirlpool diet has dryer doesn’t have a cycling thermostat, why?
My Kenmore Elite it squealing like crazy. Will this fix it?
It is going to depend on where the squealing noise is coming from? Have you tried to take apart the dryer to see where the noise is coming from?
Do you have to lubricate anything when replacing
I changed out all these parts and now my dryer isn’t wanting to spin at all? Any chance you might know why?
What is the model number of your dryer?
@@appliancepartspros med9600sq0 and thank you for the quick reply!
Have you tried to put the dryer into a diagnostics test to see if any error codes come up on the machine?
@@appliancepartspros I have not! How would I go about doing that?
Do you happen to have your tech sheet for your dryer?
Most excellent vidio, very helpful and well done! I'll let you know how the repair goes.
Very helpful information. Had to do this exact thing and with this video it was great.
How long did it take to complete? I have a kit arriving soon, and I want to make sure I budget enough time/space (especially with a dog and two small kids running around). Thanks!
@@kevinmoraine2387 little over an hour but it would have been longer if I didn't have the video. Also a good time to dust out the dryer
@@shawnnelson8627 thanks so much. And agreed that it’s a good time to do some cleaning. Much appreciated.

very helpful, got my dryer working again!
Great to hear!
Great video. Made my life so much easier. Thank you.
Thank you SOOOOO much for this perfect tutorial that walked me through it.
You make it look so easy! very professional
Sending out an SOS. Did everything as shown and still have noise and rattling when dryer stops.
Super helpful! Thanks, Matt!! I hope they're giving you good money for this.
Glad the video helped you get the dryer fixed!
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to do the repair by myself! You made it soooo easy to follow.
thanks for the video! squealing was a worm out idle pulley, replaced pulley and belt easily! Maytag 5000
Happy we could help get it back in working order, David!
Thanks for the directions.
The only 3 things I would add:
1) when removing the front lower panel I placed the dryer on a 2x4 to help lift the front to access the screws.
Stan Wright Good job on the repair. Thanks for the tips!
I have seen other repair videos where silicone lubricant is applied when installing the new rollers. Does anyone else do that?
You shouldn't have to use any type of lubricant when installing the rollers.
@@appliancepartspros thanks. I guess some people use silicone lubricant as a quick and temporary fix. I am just going to clean the posts and install the new rollers and not add any lubricant.
This Video Was perfect so well done. Thank you
