I'm gonna edit this one since you guys don't know anything about the pain. Pain had missiles but that was rinnegan's ability based on Budhdhism mythology where a god can menifest mechanical weapons. Other than that mythological reference they never used technology for fighting.
Thats a difference case cause that path is the same as one of the realms of samsara which involves a god who can manifest mechanical limbs and weapons. All rinnegan abilities are the same as the realms. They are basically inspired by Buddhism.

Whenever Naruto, and Sakura try to fight along side Kakashi, they either end up being a burden or they overpower him to the point Kakashi himself is useless. In this case tho, Konohamaru, Mitsuki, and Sarada exhausted themselves so that Boruto alone could fight Ao. Pretty sure they weren't a burden here though, if it was Sarada who fought Ao instead of Boruto, she'd have probably won. Even Mitsuki, and Konohamaru. Boruto just somehow ended up being the chosen one

That's the problem though it was rarely used and that makes the transition over to boruto with its technology look so dumb and unrealistic. At least with one piece you see technology a lot and there's a guy who's behind most of it and is a very important character but for naruto and boruto it's the opposite. Soo many different technology and no name behind it are why it even exists
@@elknothin3403 It's been 16 years since Pain, that's enough time for transitioning in Naruto's universe. Even though the tech is still underground (Kara, most advanced one) and haven't distributed as standard-issue yet.
It's definitely growing but we don't have the absolute details, the Hidden Stone even developed a high tech weapon as we've seen in The Last movie.

I really like how much of the battles in Boruto are collaborative. We missed out on so many team ups with the old team 7 because they were separated for much of the story once they were all strong. So this is refreshing.

@@Rotisiv idk man my fav naruto moment shadow clone moments are against kakuzu and pain where he uses just a few to test the speed and makes a small adjustment to how many he uses. Once he got sage mode and used his shadow clones to do rasenshuriken he learned to use them more like boruto

We already had "Chakra" blades in the original. We didn't need this. This is simply a 100% Star Wars rip-off. From the the colors of the sabers, shape, and design. The one Boruto drops is designed *exactly* like Anakin's original light saber (that then gets passed onto Luke).

I like how the shadow clones last more and are more durable when it's convenient, but in other fights they disappear when you push them
Honestly that's been happening since the beginning of Naruto I don't know why Shadow clones durability vary so much
@@tyler-tz2hz it depends on how much chakra was put into them. A lot of times Naruto use them only for extra distance, sneak attack, and extra hit so no need to make them last long. Not really hard to tell.
my head cannon is that the more injured the shadow clone, the more chakra it drains, so whenever naruto or boruto need them to last longer they just pour more chakra into them. otherwise they just let them disappear

A great majority of the people who “criticize” Boruto, does it without actually watching the show itself. They watch the clips and criticize from there. So this great majority doesn’t even know the context nor do they understand or even try to understand the overall theme of the show or even this fight alone and it shows through their comments. Don’t waste your time. Majority of those criticisms will disappear if they actually watch the show but due to their reluctance to do so, their “opinions” will forever be biased and stemmed from misunderstanding. I appreciate everybody who actually watches the show and gives their valid critiques.

I only watch some clips, but looking at the way fights are done in boruto, strategy wise they are child's play. It's like he tried to copy narutos unpredictability but made it the only gimmick to the fights. No cool taijutsu in between, strategy is very superficial low level. I saw this video where boruto runs around the fisherman otsutsuki only to get hit in the face when he gets close.

The idea of using the Chakra Blade’s bugs as a weapon is such a great idea when I read this scene I was hyped, Boruto and team 7 have great chemistry, this episode was very amazing.

Ao could had been more difficult for them to face, if he had used jutsu instead of the weird technology that Kara gives him. That's what make him weaker. Plus, losing that byakugan eyes also cause him to be weaker aswell

They were made by shinobi not a lightsaber.
It still is made by a shinobi, the only point of the device is to make it easier to preform. Otherwise it wouldn't drain Ao so quickly as being he needs his robotics to even fight anymore. As such he has gotten more sloppy with his chakra control out of muscle memory.
@@silverethereal2715 nope it's not the same. Back then it was a rare skill where you can make your chakra blade like sasuke did in five kage arc. But now anyone can use it chase now u just have to push a switch and with your chakra, it will work like same. For ex - mastering a chakra blade is like riding a bicycle while using the lightsaber is like riding a bicycle with supporting wheels.
@@sudhir2445 So the point of technology, it's still the same technique. Just made easier and more efficient since you don't have to be a master to perform it. Like technology in real life making some jobs that took an actual refined master to perform now can be done by someone unskilled. However it still does not give someone the skills to wield the weapon, it doesn't give someone the chakra control to use it for longer periods. It doesn't even let them add elements to the blade outside if the user knows how to do so. All it really does is make the actual technique easier to use. I don't see anything wrong with that being all the scientific ninja tools they showed beforehand.

In old times, it was cool to see chakra blade bcuz it was rare but now it will be like any other kunai and shuriken.
Now any low lvl shinobi or evil guy gonna use these chakra blade and that's how you will be out of the aww factor.
Like I said it demotivates hard workers like lee and guy and there won't be any guy or lee if metal lee gonna use this tool. Then he will be like any other regular shinobi.

Don't worry, they dont use these tools after this arc. It's mainly just scientific modifications to bodies

In naruto's era, computers are already a thing... In the early series they used headphones for communication in the classic cat mission.
Still Naruto anime choose to not focus in mixing tech with ninjutsus that much and to me that was a very good choice.
This choice to blend tech with ninja world will be a good fit for some people, for me who doesn't like "tech" animes so much is bad so I'm not against it but definitely don't watch, just some clips here and there when something feels interesting.
