This concealer looks right up my alley! I love a medium coverage hydrating concealer for my under eyes. I like full coverage for spot concealing but prefer a lighter coverage under my eyes because of texture. It looks amazing considering you didn’t powder the one eye! It seems like it might be similar to the Kosas? Have you tried that by chance? It’s probably my all time favorite concealer but the shades could be better…
I like the Kosas but I think this one provides more coverage.
Thanks for reviewing these. The concealer doesn't look like enough coverage for my heavy dark circles. I want to love Too Faced complexion products but only the original Born This Way foundation has ever worked for me.
Yeah it’s hit or miss for me too, the entire brand is.
A hydrating version of the NYX concealer would be the Loreal Age Perfect concealer. Its light to medium coverage.

I’ve never used Too Faced other than a face palette, but have always wanted to try the concealer but never got around to it as I have my ABH and Pat McGrath ones to finish. I need super heavy camoflage level coverage for under eyes so I’ll be giving this a pass. Nothing beats my ABH and PMG ones so far :)

Because the powder has the "ethereal" finish, I would only use it as a finishing powder, just like the Flower Beauty one (not the matte, obviously 😉).
The concealer seemed fine, just not enough coverage for my dark undereye circles 😒.
I really liked the hair look - you do some amazing things with your hair 😍

I love the too faced born this way multi-use sculpting concealer, Mac cosmetics studio fix and Kryolan concealer circle. I don't like too faced setting powder feels heavy on my skin.
I’ve never tried Kryolan, I’ll have to check it out!
I have a different skin type & love the original Ethereal setting powder and bought a backup when I saw it was being phased out. I want to get ahold of the “new” one to compare ingredients since the packaging appears to be the same

I would try the concealer. Lately my skin looks better with a light coverage product.
Then this might be for you! It’s definitely a true medium coverage.

I actually like the eye you didn't set better which excites me bc I don't wear powder often. However the Danessa Myricks balm yep everyday. Super excited to try this one. I hope it works for my skin type. I wanna try the last one you tried. Was it REM or RMS? I am blanking they're all running together lol

Yeah I think so. It’s a nice match for me.
I feel the same way about a lot of my concealers and Setting powder! For some reason the neutral or Translucent shades are pulling yellow on me!!
Yeah same here. I notice a lot with the white powders.
Need to try layering a medium coverage under a high coverage concealer. I usually just use a high coverage one where its darkest, without spreading it out whatoever, set it, and do a light layer of full coverage powder foundation on top, wich ends up working out great for wrinkly undereyes.
I’m gonna try this with a corrector underneath and see how it works.
@@SteffsBeautyStash Hope you like it. I love low coverage concealers on top of corrector. Or alternatively, low coverage concealer all over as a base and high coverage concealer on the tear troughs/sunken areas, or the powder foundation method I mentioned.

I had the original setting powder and the born this way foundation and I HATED them both!!! The old concealer was so so. I still have it and can use it in the summer.

@@SteffsBeautyStash I do remember the original powder had the word ethereal in it. I thought it had sounded more glowy or less drying but it sure wasn’t!
Hi Steph, if you are looking for a new HG setting powder, may I suggest a few? My top three loose powders are: 1. Dior cushion loose powder ( idk if it's part of the Backstage line. It's in the new quilted packaging.) 2. Chanel loose powder, 3. Lancome's long time no shine powder (amazing for oily skin, setting the t zone and blurring pores). I hope that was helpful. Maybe you'll find a new HG powder in the list. Great video! This concealer reminds me of the Fit Me concealer. If you find that setting powders darken your concealer, try MAC emphasize powder or they have a light pink one in their contour kit too (I just can't remember the shade name). That really brightens up the under eye, plus you can set your eye primer with it too. 😄 😉😊 How was the new MAC setting spray? Should we pick it up? Is it worth the splurge?

I’ve been enjoying the setting spray but I don’t think full on oily skin beauties will like it. I think it needs that bit of alcohol to help control the oil.
@@SteffsBeautyStash I can see how a touch of alcohol helps set the makeup a bit better. Only isn't the CT setting spray also alcohol free? I've been using that for the past year and my makeup is always bullet proof. 🤷♀️😉😘

I will be passing on these. I like a bit more coverage with my concealer and I need a powder that is going to live up its oil-absorbing claims for my t-zone. I will check out the Flower Beauty matte loose powder when I'm in need of a new one though!

I have a sample nof the oriiginal setting powder, never reach for it.
I’m not entirely sure what all the difference is but this one worked better.
New powder? I like the original powder and BTW radiant concealer - I was so upset when they discontinued it - the newer one is “hydrating” but way too dry underneath my eyes - so I’m really curious how it compares to the one they discontinued. I figure it wasn’t as popular when Shape Tape is the standard of coverage, maybe. I’m not kidding when hydrating” concealers are too dry, with the exception of Tarte Creaseless, which never really sets but at least it’s not crusty on me. The BTW foundation is too heavy and dry too and then they drop a matte formula - lol. Don’t get me started on discontinuing HOLY GRAIL products - Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless Original - there has never been anything like it before and since - worked on my mature, acne prone, combination, dehydrated at times with dry patches AND my teenage daughter who is more normal but is sensitive to ingredients that can give her a rash if they’re too harsh, but can get hormonal acne (runs in the family). I’ve heard of dupes but nothing is as weightless, disappears, stays on, doesn’t accentuate dryness or lines - PERFECTION. On their website people beg them to bring it back so why not, because it’s not vegan? They won’t say but the poor replacement with alcohol is vegan, so that’s my guess. Why don’t they listen to their customers and bring back a foundation like that and not have so many newer meh, drugstore has better products? Same with Peach Perfect powder. I regret not buying it because I can get dry but it seriously blurred everything. I’m shocked the NYX is more matte - haven’t tried it but now I’m second guessing it.
I so wish our faves were not discontinued!! Idk why they do that, especially when something seems to be selling well. I was a fan of the whole Peach Perfect line to be honest. I also had that UD Skin foundation and found it to be beautiful!
Wow! Those were my favorite concealers too! I still have my Benefit radiant and will not throw it out. I ordered one the minute they discontinued it. The UD was my favorite and I miss it so much!
I wonder why they are calling that powder new when they’ve had it for a while. Maybe a new formula? It looks the same as the old version.
I know right? I’m thinking the formula is different because it did work better on me than the old one.
