Jermaine was the best thing that ever happened to my son, Jackson. We found him randomly one day practicing at the fields and he agreed to take him on and help him with his swing and his confidence. Jackson is the subject of this video and you can see how much he's developed in such a short period of time. I'd recommend him to anyone and have shared this video with a bunch of my friends. Not only is he a great instructor, but he's also a great man with amazing character. He's teaching my son to be a better man and respect his parents and appreciate who he is and where he comes from.

@JermaineCurtis55 He looks good. I've been teaching the "pat yourself on the back" technique for years as a way to clean up roll over and have better bat path. It works well. I usually tell kids to focus on the feel of giving someone an uppercut to the ribs as a way of teaching getting on plane, and driving the rear hip. Very similar concept to what you were doing here with how you had him throwing the ball with his top hand. I definitely approve. It's a good idea. It's just funny to me because I get into heated debates with many coaches that tell me I'm teaching an "uppercut swing" that's only gonna produce pop-ups. Meanwhile, I watch many of the kids from these coaches unable to figure out how not to hit flared grounders on a low outside tee setting because they're unable to get behind the ball and just swing down at it. Also, I love the dog ball thrower idea. That's a new one for me. I'm gonna have to try that out. I've always told kids that the lead arm is the guide through the swing plane. The dog ball thrower shows that perfectly with immediate feedback. Well done. 👍🏻

Hahah Yeah, I hear ya. Social Media is about the extremes so when they see most people coach they see the exaggerated version of it.
