En cuanto al trabajo de el grupo de este video, me parece excelente. Eso es parte de la magia de la música, aparte de ser universal es infinita y estoy en desacuerdo con el camarada que afirma que eso es una falta de respeto. Si yo quisiera tocar esta canción en rock, en salsa , en merengue, country o hasta en galerón, sería un homenaje a Ferguson.
Manuel es un tesoro para nosotros los ticos que amamos nuestro pais, un hombre sabio sin infulas de nada que da gusto escuchar cantar y hablar, bendiciones para Manuel y su bendita musica.

De donde sacó usted que este grupo es una mierda???. Que falta de cultura, el maestro Manuel Monestel a hecho un excelente trabajo por impulsar el calipso a el resto de la población del país, y los muchachos de Cantoamerica aparte de ser muy buenos en lo que hacen le imprimen un sentmiento especiales a las canciones. Sin embargo le pido por favor me defina "cultura limonense" yo no siquiera soy centro americano y veo con preocupación que la fusión musical destruye el folklore, como puede observar en este video.
Por lo demás el costo humano para engendrar y preservar el folclore, especialmente el folclore negro, fue excesivo. Demasiados muertos y demasiada sangre como para que cualquier idiota el día de hoy, haga arreglos musicales sentado frente al computador de su casa. Vea el ejemplo de Suriname, la cantidad de guerras civiles para ponerse de acuerdo en la sociedad más eterogénea del mundo, dio como resultado el Chutney calypso y ellos están dispuestos a defender su cultura con sus vidas.

Sí decirle que estudio la antropología musical, como puede revisar en mi perfil de favoritos, y me apena que se le llame maestro a cuidadores del Folklore, como se le puede llamar maestros a genios de otro talante. No se apasione tanto ya que Folkloristas he conocido por miles, Maestros muy pocos y sin ofender, en este video no se divisa ninguno

Creo que Mr Ferguson estaria muy satisfecho de ver los tonos que toman sus creaciones al pasar por el prisma de este exelente grupo.
