    It's the style of bending that gives it the uneasy feeling, which is what sets thos apart from djent, as Thall.

    it feels like some dark electro stuff, like it has those very dark/sad/minor electronic drones in the background but then stupidly dirty riffs on top. Definitely occupies a special niche in the brain

  • @ChanceUnfolding
    @ChanceUnfolding 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    the guitars in vildhjarta are super unique, all the low string bendy stuff makes it sound like the guitars are wailing and crying in agony. and obvi the rhythmic patters are unexpected and they usually stray away from straight 000 chug patters just to flex the tone

  • @Temilotzin805
    @Temilotzin805 2 ปีที่แล้ว +34

    If i remember correctly they pitch shift their guitars down using a whammy pedal, idk how low but i'm sure it adds to the tone also saw you in San Fran over the weekend sick as shit!

    • @MikeyDsRS
      @MikeyDsRS 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      they pitch shift multiple times within a song in some cases. so they get these weird semitones that don't sound natural and you won't hear from other bands

    • @trextonhaldeman323
      @trextonhaldeman323 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wasn't sure if they added chorus on some of those high riffs too, it just sounds super like, all over the place pitch wise lol, but it makes it sound awesome!

    I don’t know if they are really Djent but they are really unique. I always felt it’s the fluid bendy notes, pitch jumps and deep clean reverb drenched parts that set them apart. It’s so very dark but sounds crispy
