Actually, I visited their facility and they keep everything together through the reproduction process and the only time apart is taken out of the original assembly is if it is damaged beyond repair or out of spec.
Now I'm not so worried about a rebuilt TC, great video.

They seem to allow components to be randomly matched after disassembly. Wouldn't it be better to match components with their original converter?

Di you think that when the 2 halves of the converter are seperated they somehow miss each other? They did become very close over time.
My newly installed transtar converter slips the lockup under acceleration. Not impressed
Lockup is typically only applied when in top gear and not under acceleration. Must also be at least a certain speed as well, like 40 mph.
So what they are saying is...we have them redone in china...
