I'm back showcasing another special palette!
(I even have a long drawn out and pointless backstory for this one :D)
Also this concept was made a long time ago that I decided to keep as-is.
This form is based off a "what if" scenario in MMX5, when X fought Zero in his 'Awakened' state, but instead of having a stalemate, X was defeated...
Unrivaled and power unmatched, Zero eventually laid waste to the Maverick Hunters, Mavericks, and even Sigma for good. The virus over time evolved and Zero with it, no longer being merely a source of his power, but has integrated into him being a true extension of himself. His body color permanently changed due to the over-saturation of the virus. It's come to the point that Zero has been saturated with so much of the virus that every attack sends a bit of the virus to seek out and infect anything close-by. The virus has had time to evolve so far to the point that it can even infect living organisms (i.e. biological opponents) solidifying the fact that truly NOTHING IS SAFE FROM THE ZERO VIRUS!

Anyways, this mode is pretty much a projectile spamming mode.The standard attack power is greatly reduced (for obvious reasons) and many of his special attacks are disabled in this mode.
Palette exclusive moves include:
-A concentrated virus projectile that replaces Hadangeki (Slash projectile)
-A virus based counter attack
-A viral version of Gemurei (Big slash projectile)
-A rolling attack circles around the screen that shoots off viruses continuously
-And a Hyper named "Viral Zone"
-He can warp behind the opponent at any given time but it does cost power in this mode
I did make it so that the opponent can't be stun locked indefinitely by the virus projectiles. Also the viruses don't do chip damage when blocked, so this mode isn't COMPLETELY broken.

this is a good maverick hunter zero char for mugen, keep good at the work you´re doing a nice work
Okay, I wanna be clear about my Zero character that I haven't shared as of yet.
He's actually a really old character of mine that I never shed any light on, and I've been reworking him from the ground up as of late last year (both ascetic and mechanic-wise). Every palette I've shown and will show are old as well, and I already have 12 made for him which is the max amount allowed (not all are special of course).
I did mention in my very first video that this was considered a private character until further notice. That still stands. One of the reasons why is that i'm just not done with him yet (as hard as that may be to believe). Also I can't make any commitment as to when i'll be finished with him. Not just due to time constraints, but also because I only work on him when the mood strikes me. These videos are just me showing parts of him that I consider more or less finished.
Mind you that this guy isn't me being a MUGEN character creator, this is me being a MMX (and MMZ) series fan.
I'm just using MUGEN as a outlet to make the best Zero that I can make (If that makes any sense)

+Dustin Rush Years ago I found a custom sprite sheet of Zero wielding two sabers made by a guy named Darkphase (I don't know if his website is still up anymore). Fun fact: That sprite sheet inspired me to make a Zero that dual wielded sabers for MUGEN.

Hey, I think that whenever you showcase, you should let us download what you showcase, unless you think that you wanna fix it a little bit.
EDIT: Can I help you test this stuff? I really wanna see if it works exactly like it does here on MUGEN 1.1b.
ANOTHER EDIT: How about a palette that looks like how Zero appeared in X-BUSTER, with the blue saber and red evil eyes with the red outline, and the paler armor, like in the Zero series?

Just a question. Are all the unlimited zero variants 1 whole character with different attributes for the different skins or all different characters?
The music remix used has been haunting me, lately. That is, I need to find the source. I've gone through the comments, found someone asking for a link to the remix, with a reply saying that it was already given, somewhere else in the comments, but I find nothing. My own searches are also to no avail. Anyone else know the exact remix, or have a link to it?

The viral hyper is cool but is way too slow. Like making it three times faster would make it a lot less infuriating to sit through.

Why are most of the comments so whiny about this version being unreleased when it's the most blatant op one of the bunch, jeez people hate effort into fun 🗿
I think it's possible to make this balanced. Just...pick any of these that you like, don't necessarily make ALL the suggestions happen.
-Virus projectiles follow the path that zero is moving rather than auto-aim. Only the darker virus projections go straight for the enemy.
-Virus projectiles deal damage, but don't stun. Enemies can block them, but then they can't take advantage of the lack of stun.
-When warping behind the opponent, an afterimage is left behind for a while. Attacking the afterimage still deals damage to Zero.
-Instead of getting stronger at low health, he starts to fizzle like a virus. He loses the second saber, and starts degenerating health. Trying the command that calls lightning on the second saber instead releases viruses in all directions.
+benedict co While I appreciate the feedback, I think you're under the impression that I didn't intentionally make this palette cheap (because I did). Also funny thing about that last idea you had about the grounded saber spewing viruses; I actually already had a very similar idea that I never got around to doing (mostly cuz his counter attack is very similar to that already).
+Lightning Count X I was aware that it was deliberately cheap, but well....I kinda WANT to fight against a virus spewing Zero. An actual fight and not a godmode beatdown, one that would knock the Nightmare Zero fight out of the park(not that that would be very difficult).
As for the grounded saber spewing viruses, while that's ALSO something I considered, that isn't what I meant.
I wanted to emphasize that as much as the Virus became part of Zero, Zero became "part" of the Virus. This would be reflected by his form becoming slightly staticky at low health, like he's dispersing into the air/cyberspace. In gameplay, he would become more "feral". Unable to properly manipulate a second saber, but trading that for more indiscriminate virus spewing.
You could just make his attack power low in the CNS file
