It is difficult to get burrs in the area where I live but I'll keep trying. The things you turn are beautiful. keep making the videos. your english gets better each video.
Only one year woodturning! There is hope for me yet.I have a friend who is a arborist.He collects logs and branches from his "surgery" that I mill into blocks and boards and season in an open sided covered rack.This is a good use for what I would have cut up for fish smoking.
Found your channel yesterday - fascinating. You have a true talent. I have been woodturning for over a year now and I struggle to "see" finished projects as you obviously can. I wish I had half your talent! Keep up the inspiration.

These are some absolutely beautiful pieces. I think the ones with the slight staining look so unique. When I first saw it, I was wondering if it was just the type of wood that was coloured that way... LoL. The video was pretty good, but I would've preferred it if you had maybe broken it up into parts (like part 1, part 2, ect), and made a video for each piece. That way you could've showed us the entire process, including sanding, polishing, and finishing, without worrying that the video would be too long, because I really would've liked to see all those parts as well... still, it was a good video, with really amazing pieces... 👍

Would be fantastic to turn that broken piece, then get someone to match its general shape out of glass, and fuse the two together so half is wood and half is glass. Oooo0O0oooo!

Jo, můžem i česky.. :-) Je to točené za mokra, asi měsíc po spílení (z mrtvého) stromu.. Většinou se to točí tak na 2-3cm a po pár měsících dodělá no tady to je Nádorové drevo - je tvrdší - tak jsem vytočil rovno na hotovo (stena 0,5-1cm), pak 2m sušil v hoblinách, pak jen dobrousil.. A krásně se to při tom sušení zprohýbalo no nedopraskalo..
+Apicera Záleží na type dreva a na tom ako je vyschlé.. a priprav si sekund. lepidlo, keď sa to na niektorých miestach začne odlupovať, dá sa to tým zachrániť a potom prebrúsiť.. Vyskúšaj, je to paráda, no pozor, najlepšie so štítom ak by kora odletovala..

Kombinace ruznych vosku a oleju.. to není na jeden koment..
