The Jonathan Ross Show is a British chat show presented by Jonathan Ross. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2011 - in the late Saturday evening timeslot - following the conclusion of Ross' BBC One chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, in July 2010.
The show is filmed at The London Studios. In November 2011, it was announced that Ross had signed a new two-year contract to host another two series of 10 episodes each and a Christmas special.

Hated Thomas until Sybil's death. The way Thomas cried over her was so surprising. I expected him to grief a bit but not to that extent. "I can tell in my life,not many have been kind to me and she was one of the few". Poor chap. Rob Collier did such an amazing job portraying Thomas

Poor Rob, he has to defend his character! I love it when he always says Barrow is just misunderstood! He seems to have such a fun & playful personality! He did such a good job at making me hate, sympathize, empathize, care & love Barrow. Quite a range! I need to watch some of his other things besides Downton Abbey.

He’s very quick and witty.
OMG, P Diddy was hysterical....I laughed so hard. Right from the very beginning I loved Thomas but I was reacting to the actor and not the character I think. I'm a very emphatetic person and I loved Thomas right away, he was very sad and lonely so he did mean things. Rob played him so well, he made us love/hate Thomas and took us through the whole range of emotions with his wonderful acting.
I felt the same as you did about Thomas. (I’m also empathetic).
Totally loved and felt such emotions for that character! Rob being so handsome didn’t exactly hurt! lol
I am just watching this series now.... Why so late??? Because everyone told me to watch it (when it first came out) and I protested. Don't tell me what to do. And of course now that Downton Abbey is off the radar, I have been binge watching it for the last month. And my favourite character is Mr. Barrow. Hands down. He makes me want to hug him, slap him, stare him down and also scheme with him.... I think I love him.
I did the exact same thing! It was terrible because I didn't have anyone to talk to about it! I watched the first time just shortly into the lock down. Watching it again right now.

Could be, although I think she's just taking advantage of the armrest (which is why it appears as she is leaning). In this sense, Rob is the one leaning away, although it would probably look suspicious if they would be sitting too tightly on such a wide couch ;) Don't wanna piss off the missus ;)
No silly she's just turned towards the interviewer as you do and leaning on the armrest. They seem to be pretty friendly.
I also noticed that at the beginning Rob seemed to be leaning more into Joanne and then she moved more into the interviewer and Rob moved away a little
I can't understand the accent of Mr Collier. Thankfully he doesn't sound like this in the series.

Yeah, he mentioned it in the interview he had on The View. His character was supposed to die, but I guess he had high approval ratings (people loving to hate him, or just love him in my case) and they kept his character. If he had died in Season 1 I doubt any of the characters would have cared very much, so his death would have been meaningless, not adding to the drama, and they would have had to create another "villain" character.
