I couldnt disagree with these guys more. If you run a soalr attic fan theres no electric involved. A properly sealed and well ventilated attic will benifet from an attic fan. And your AC unit will thank you
It doesn't matter if it's solar or hooked up to your electrical system, attic fans work. Maybe not in the human climate they are talking about, but they work. I have one in my house and I've seen the difference. My AC system used to run off and on all night long. After I installed the attic fan, my AC comes on once maybe twice throughout the night. It made a huge difference in keeping my house cool. I'm in California.
