Kegan as also been in the game for about 8 years
They literally started almost the same time.
You can scroll down to the very first video on their channels to confirm for your self.
Just that Fisayo became famous before Kegan. Kegan became more famous when he decided to focus on creating more instagram and TikTok short video content.
I got to know Fisayo first, when he was still on 30k followers on instagram. Then I got to know Kegan about two years ago. And ever since then, I can’t remember the last time I watched Fisayo’s video except it pops up on my feed.
I think I kind of understand where Kegan is coming from when he said “he single-handedly changed tech content”
He kind of made it fun and interesting to watch even people that doesn’t know/care about tech will watch his video.

“Single-handedly” is an extremely wrong statement to make. Just means the victory is getting to ur head. Imagine Rema making such statement even if he actually brought a new style to Afrobeats. It’s just wrong on all levels.

I thought this was a small beef oo, but really nobody will the goat of a niche, it's more like Ronaldo and Messi, Messi fans won't see Ronaldo as the best and same for Ronaldo fans, Kagan has his fans and supporters while Fisayo does too, for one to a G.O.A.T of a niche everyone must come to an agreement including the other parties fans. I don't believe Fisayo was jealous of the award. From the records, Fisayo started tech content creation way long before kagan and won this same award 2 years ago. I'm certain Kagan was still finding his way into tech content creation at the time. If we are being fair, Fisayo has the biggest tech youtube channel in Nigeria and kagan doesn't even come close. If we put the numbers and experiences aside. It's wrong of kagan to spill he "single handedly". As much as he likes vawulence, he didn't need to make tech creators hardwork feel like a futile effort in the community. If the likes of fisayo didn't open the door for the likes of him, then he has every right to spill the statement. Believe it or not, every Nigerian tech creator out there has had a part to play in the community in revolutionalizing Nigerian tech content. There's nothing wrong in acknowledging the effort of others and being humble!.

Fisayo is far far bigger and more influential, richer etc hence he should have over looked it and totally ignored after all is it a competition? It's not. Who even knows what criteria they used to judge who gets the award. So for me he should have just walked by. By the way the data is out there to prove who is who. How can som1 with 30k subs ompare to son1 with over 500k subs I never even knew Kagan until this video
