Well, Columbo is still great, after all these years, it's still fun to watch, but Peter Faulk died back in 2011, so he's not really playing the part of Columbo anymore, so he can't really still be great as Columbo. Peter Faulk performed that character so well and that's why we love Columbo . . . .because of Peter Faulk.
Columbo and Golden Girls are two of my favourite shows ever, so when Peter got on stage to accept the award from none other than THE FREAKING GOLDEN GIRLS I just about had a heart attack. I wish so badly that they could have done a cross-over episode together!!!
Great actor. In my opinion he goes into the category of Jack Nicholson, Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins and the many other big in film history. He plays an absolutely outstanding and authentic role and in my opinion there is no comparable character in a comparable series like Columbo. Great and unique, especially the old Columbo films from the 60s 70s and 80s, these are the best! Too bad that there is nothing like that where only about the same class and the incomparable charm as the Columbo series. I can watch these films again and again and even learn something about it. Unique and great!
One of the producers of the show said that a true gentleman with complete power is a blessing and that was Peter Falk. he was gracious to writers, actors and anyone that worked on the set. His fighting with Bill Link and Levinson though were of legend. the great Peter Falk.
My favorite detective show of all time. This show had great writers and stories, but most of all the perfect person to play the lead role. Peter Falk was superb. RIP Peter Falk.
It's heartbreaking that Peter Falk did not remember his character when he was diagnosed with Alzheimers. As I grow older myself and still watch "Columbo" I can appreciate how gifted he really was. RIP., Lieutenant Culombo.
See, the later episodes were great. Some of the best. Columbo Cries Wolf; Sex and the Married Detective; Uneasy Lies the Crown; Columbo Likes the NIghtlife; Murder, Smoke and Shadows....among the best.
The look on his wife selfish and jealous. Did not want him to mention his step daughter say all as whenever liked them and does not like the give them a penny from dad wow selfish you know what poor Peter was taken by his wife controlling ways and she was 22 years younger so not a dummy
BOSCO ooo Yes but can you tell me how long Peter Falk was married to his wife and were his daughters his biological ones? Not sure if you made that clear. Thanks!
I absolutely love Peter Falk ! I watched all the Columbo series and it just felt like a treat every time. We'd settle on the sofa with some beer & nibbles and laugh our heads off, when he always came to that : er, just one more thing" moment, slowly patronising his prey to death... Priceless. 👍🤣💖😎💥
I kinda believe the daughter she went all the way had a bill passed in Congress about money an the family who shuts off relationship with the Alzheimer's victims who can't speak 4 themselves I read tht his $$ did get split 3 ways sherise got his Art collection but 2 adopted daughters got six figures so tht good Catherine won a very good law if u can find it please read
One of THE greatest roles in the history of television... But I would say the second incarnation he played the character as a slight parody of the role first time round
It's 2020 and I recently began watching Columbo re-runs and let me tell you, Peter Falk is STILL great as Columbo. Now, I'm hooked again!

Me too!!!
The exact same thing is happening to me. Today is May 8th, 2021 and Columbo is making my days happier.👍🏼 Great actor and a wonderful TV show.
It shows you that you don't need a lot of sex, tits and ass and violence and cheesy love stories

You are being much too generous.
Totally agree. 👍💜🕶
He was well into his prime by this time. Columbo is a character that never grows old.
I really think Columbo is one of the most iconic show on TV in history ! Peter Falk was more than brillant, so talented !
Not just great on t.v. Peter Falk was a two-time Oscar nominee for best supporting actor category.
One of the producers of the show said that a true gentleman with complete power is a blessing and that was Peter Falk. he was gracious to writers, actors and anyone that worked on the set. His fighting with Bill Link and Levinson though were of legend. the great Peter Falk.
Loved Columbo! There will never be another show like it. Truly one of a kind!
A great actor, a fantastic show and most admirable of all about this clip is the humility he shows in extending credit to others. RIP
The role he was born to play. He will always be Columbo. R.I.P. Peter Falk. 🙏
Congratulations to Peter Falk who plays as Colombo. And one more thing, you're the greatest drama actor. I love your Colombo t.v.shows. 👍❤
My favorite detective show of all time. This show had great writers and stories, but most of all the perfect person to play the lead role. Peter Falk was superb. RIP Peter Falk.

Peter had some beautiful women.
Best detective show ever - can watch numerous times - love it !!!!!!
See, the later episodes were great. Some of the best. Columbo Cries Wolf; Sex and the Married Detective; Uneasy Lies the Crown; Columbo Likes the NIghtlife; Murder, Smoke and Shadows....among the best.
I think the best later episode is RIP Mrs Columbo
My personal favorites were 'Now you see him' with Jack Cassidy and 'swan song' with Johnny Cash
Kinda cool peter read the card when bea arthur won an emmy
Awarded by the golden girls wow
Merci Peter❤
Without my guest star's spectacular talent and generosity I would not be remembered as much. I know these for a fact
Thank you ALL
Not at all what he said. More like a team effort win than "they are great and I'm nothing."
Актер легенда!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Imortal columbo!
It’s weird to see him in clothes besides Columbo gear.
The look on his wife selfish and jealous. Did not want him to mention his step daughter say all as whenever liked them and does not like the give them a penny from dad wow selfish you know what poor Peter was taken by his wife controlling ways and she was 22 years younger so not a dummy
Money, money changes everything
He must have been quite a man being so humble in excepting the award that no one else could play but him. Bravo!
Class act.
Just one more thing....
RIP
Real international star mister Legendary Peter Columbo Falk
The world knows him by columbo not peter falk one more thing he is pure genius class acting a true legend
His wife Shera Danese was on two Columbo episodes. She got his money when he died.
His Kids didn't get any money? Is that right?
@Likes&Favorites - What evidence do you have for that?
@@HoldenNY22 just one more thing!
His wife was/is a horrible woman
BOSCO ooo Yes but can you tell me how long Peter Falk was married to his wife and were his daughters his biological ones? Not sure if you made that clear. Thanks!
I love this guy....!
He’s the best....❤️
Before he walked off he should've said 'One more thing'
I absolutely love Peter Falk ! I watched all the Columbo series and it just felt like a treat every time. We'd settle on the sofa with some beer & nibbles and laugh our heads off, when he always came to that : er, just one more thing" moment, slowly patronising his prey to death... Priceless. 👍🤣💖😎💥
Shera Danese didnt look so happy. Something tells me their relationship was on a rocky road at least on that day
I noticed that
I kinda believe the daughter she went all the way had a bill passed in Congress about money an the family who shuts off relationship with the Alzheimer's victims who can't speak 4 themselves I read tht his $$ did get split 3 ways sherise got his Art collection but 2 adopted daughters got six figures so tht good Catherine won a very good law if u can find it please read
Love him. Too bad I missed this show when it aired!
It is testament to how good the show is, that it lives on in so many places :)
My favorite TV detective - who could follow Peter Falk in that role - he was a gifted actor whatever he turned his hand to
1:56 Just one more thing...
Finally, we get to see the Mrs. She's not a bad looking lady! Well done Lt.
She played in a lot of episodes!
