In this video I make a painting inspired by tags and street art with my painting techniques and style.
I used spray paint, acrylic paint, fluorescent colors, stencils and markers

I love the stencil work. I’ve been playing with them but I a have a question. How do you get the stencil to stick to the canvas nice and tight to prevent bleeding?? I’ve tried so many things and can’t seem to get it right.

Honestly when you cover it with white I was scared and then when you take the stencil off it's magic!

Some artists can learn by watching a video just like someone can learn to play an instrument by ear.

agreed!! it is like a long meditation you can learn from. he is so free with his art and it is so detailed and intricate. so many levels of meaning. I was freaking out when he covered the underpainting!

Amazing job! I have a question. Where do you get those pattern stencils or templates?
You can get silicone stencils online. As for the dotted patterns - you can buy a baking tray with holes like this, or look for any other gardening or homeware items like this. As an example I have metal shelf dividers that look exactly like the square hole plates he uses.

les pochoirs pour faire des motifs, autre qu'une texture de fond, est intéressante. ça rajoute ce petit sens du détails perceptible par l'oeil et qui enrichi vraiment l'oeuvre visuellement.

Another beauty. So brave to cover over the lovely painting already done, but it works 😁
It's amazing and I would try it....but also I wouldn't paint the whole canvas if I know I'm going to totally cover up a vast majority of it later on. I'd probably just focus on the area that I know will come through underneath. I'm anxious about the wastage of paint. But I guess that it's part of the creative process.

those white textures are very beautiful, I think and my opinion there will be more beautiful with a little bit more chubby word, for example let's put the frame as the edge of the word, back pattern is very looks happy and cute, to cover this much, I think there is a little bit envy.
Before drawing my stencil I did some tests in photoshop with a thicker and less thick drawing and that's how I prefer it. But your point is interesting.

I now have a collection of paint, brushes, bubble wrap, you name it and now you add something else to the mix. I LOVE it!!! What type of paper did you use for the cutout that would hold up under all that gesso? I really like the way the stencils turned out. I was hoping you would have added a shadow to the design to make it seem 3D but it is just fine the way it is. Thank you again for sharing your creations with us.
