1 i love the silent vlogs which go slow 2 beautiful location but is it safe especially at night all alone 3 u look more beautiful in open hairs 🥰☺️😉 4 ohh and i listened to the wonder voice girl again 😀
This is a very cool video. Great editing, site location, and all round vibe. Since you're in the Coranderrk area, it would be excellent if in future videos you could mention a bit of the Indigenous history in places like this. Coranderrk was the area where the first reservation was created for Indigenous people, including William Barak, and so it plays an especially important place in the history of this area. It's a complex history, but I think it's great to talk about it more, especially in relation to bushwalking and ways of connecting with land. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching! I am surprised reading some of the signs while I was there that the indigenous history was not more obvious. Although I might have missed it. but thank you, that is a good reminder you've given me to include it for future videos. :)
The aboriginals choose a specific bit of land in that area to be there’s it’s all fenced around the whole area and has no public access badger creek goes through area and it pretty much attached to Healesville sanctuary cool stuff
The cinematography in this is absolutely stunning! I am for Victoria but never visit Healesville way, it looks absolutely beautiful 😍 I know where I'll be going for my next day trip this holiday. Thank you for sharing
I don't know how I missed this and only watching it now! But that looked so peaceful and a simple way of living. Loved this editing and music you chose, really encapsulated you're experience 😊
Hi! I have recently discovered your channel. Brings back memories of my time backpacking in Aus years ago. Thinking of moving back to Melbourne sometime in the next few years. I love the outdoors, spend my free time hiking here in Canada. Wondering if you have any recommendations for hiking clubs/organizations in the area? Will need some hiking buddies if I move back!
Hi Hayley. Your content and editing skills are just superb. What a great video. Absolutely beautiful. I'm glad you re-juved. You deserve a break and rest.
Please tell me thats not your whole editing studio Hayley 😱. The hut looks amazing. Keep up the amazing work as always. And who says you can't go to a cafe by yourself
Haha I wish! Although Id have to have about 3 wood heaters all next to me if it were to be there 😂 Haha I think i've got the solo hiking down pact, now just need to practice the solo cafe'ing 😛
Lovely video Hayley! Beautifully shot!! Even a raven wants a starring role! 🤣 What an amazing place to escape to, to relax and enjoy and do some video editing... All at your own leisure. There's so many walks and trails around there. I have a few around Warburton that I'm planning to do as well. Beautiful area. Thanks for another wonderful video Hayley 😎
Thank you!! Haha there was also one that was hanging around on the porch at the cabin. Probably followed me there 😂 I was originally going to do an 'edit with me' video similar to some people on youtube doing 'study with me' videos but I couldnt help myself and ended up going out and filming all the other stuff haha If I had more time I would have gone to the waterfall and to warburton, will just have to be next trip! 😀
Are you back from NZ or is this video footage you took before going to NZ? I am really looking forward to more of your NZ videos. I'm planning to go to NZ in 2023 for a couple of months, and I want to see where you hiked to give me some ideas where to go. Nice video you made here though.
I went back home for a month so filmed it then, but back in NZ again now. What months will you be visiting NZ? I’ll have done at least 6 ‘great walks’ by March and obviously film other hikes in between. Hopefully those videos can start coming out soon the next NZ video will be the Routeburn Track then Abel Tasman Track :)
@@settohike Right now, it looks like early October to mid-December of 2023, with possibly a week in Australia (Sydney area) on the way to NZ. I hope to see as much of NZ as I can while there.
I love you Hayley!
Almost medieval vibes, minus the bath and laten and stuff, bro. That cabin looks sick!
Haha the only thing I’d change is more candles! And maybe getting a stick to cook marshmallows 😊
@@settohike marshmallows on a stick are always worth it.
Beautiful!
I don’t live to far from there looks like my house lol
Haha well in that case your house sounds delightful! i hope you have a jar of marshmallows ready for the fire! :)
@@settohike mmm marshmallows yum unfortunately our fire place is a coonara fireplace lol keep up the great videos 👍
Great video.
Nice !!!! Thanks for taking us on this amazing & intriguing and informative journey. Wish you all the best!
Thank you!! I appreciate you joining in! 🙂

I haven't watched any of your videos for a while (my bad 🥴) loved it, great effort very well put together. Well done 👍✌️🙏
Haha I will forgive you just this once 😛 Thank you! 😊
I hope your channel will grow fast. You deserve it. :)
Thank you! 😊😊
Wow this was so cool. I just visited Melbourne now I want to go back and check this place out including the bakery!😊
Haha at least you’ve got two things already on your list for next trip :)
Mt. Juliet is nearby too. It is one of the steepest hikes I can think of in Victoria.
Sounds like you’d want lots of snacks for that hike!
@@settohike You will need Pain killers and rehydration salts as well as a masochistic streak!
Great video Hayley, looks like a good place to switch off.
Looking forward to when you finish your editing
