I'm loving this video! I'm Irish but living in Scotland. But I lived in the US for a while and missed home so much, and my Irish friend would send me care packages with tea and chocolate, and few things would make me feel as close to home. Hello from Edinburgh!

I have an idea for the pesto problem! (Or any sauce you just need a bit of at a time!)
I got a silicone ice cube tray with a lid, and put the extra sauce in there and freeze it.
When I need a little more I just pop out a cube!
I do it for lots of things (sauces, coconut milk etc) so I don’t have to throw stuff away after only using a tiny bit

I love to hear about Scotland Jen. I visited your country so many years ago when I was in high school and I fell in love with it. I hope to come back there soon and have another tour. A very nice video as usual. Thank you for the tingles.

Wow it's the first time I've heard of haggis! Hearing your description, now i wanna try it! In korea we have something called Soondae 순대 which is made by putting stuffing inside a pig's intestine! But we usually put glass noodle inside so that's a difference(there is a lot of variation of soondae so i wonder if there is one that is really similar to a haggis?) Now i must search more about haggis because I've become curious!!
Edit: I did eat haggis!! After looking at Google and how it is served with mashed potato i was like huh, i saw that before..... and i looked through photos of my trip to scotland(Edinburgh) and i DID eat haggis lol but for some reason i have a photo of the receipt but no photo of haggis......tucked away somewhere i hope.....also i ate fried Mars bars and i think that was the best dessert in the whole of UK lol
Also i did enjoy haggis i liked the combination of haggis, mashed potato and gravy! It makes you quite full as well so that's a plus!

I love these hauls, it’s neat to see and hear about some of the treats you enjoy from your childhood. I always buy my mom a Terry’s chocolate orange for Christmas. It’s her favorite and seeing it immediately makes me think of her.

Greetings from California. 😁 I love the Milk Chocolate Orange. I always put it in the fridge because there’s just something about crispy chocolate and the wedges make a nice snap (speaking of texture things). One of my favorite things to find during the holiday season.

I haven't commented on this before, but this is one of my favorite haul videos of yours to return to. ❤ I don't know what it is, but I just find this one soooo cozy (maybe it's because of the whole delicious "mood"....?😋😅) and also super interesting. On top of that the trigger sounds are just divine. 💜 Would love to see another one of these again at some point. 😊

A tip for your pesto, once you've opened a jar put the rest in an ice cube tray and freeze. Then just defrost when you want some pesto. I do this with a lot of cooking pastes.
It was Gary lineker who did the walkers adverts he was still doing them up until a few years ago I think!
Having to watch this a fee timed because I keep falling asleep 🤣

Hula hoops. One of the best crisps. After Thai sweet chilli sensations ofc 😮‍💨 would you ever be interested in doing a similar video but with your favourite French snacks? So tingly when you speak French as well 🥰

We have our own version of blood sausage. They just mix spices, white rice and of course pig's blood together, and then they stuff the pig intestine with the mixture. The traditional ones have some kick, we like our spicy foods, but people have been making milder ones especially restaurants that serve tourists.

Haggis is food that people ate long ago when food was precious and one didn't want to waste any bit that could fill their bellies. The same can be said of sausages, bratwurst, even hot dogs. I do think every country and culture has versions of meals that illustrate our ancestors need to not waste any bite of food! Please don't feel obligated to answer this question; and I'm not asking to be nosey, creepy or cheeky, but I was wondering what made you want to move to France 15 years ago? Relaxing and lovely as always Jen! God Bless 🥰

Oh my god, it’s so interesting to hear about all the different foods. The malt drink actually threw me, in the states, most people associate malts with cold drinks because of malt milkshakes…although I know it’s associated with some alcohols too. I just don’t drink much so I don’t know.

Hi Jen! Amazing video, as always. I wanted to mention (which maybe you already know!), but it looks like your Flava-it sweet chili sauce was best by 8/2022. I’m sure it’s fine anyway, It just so happens I work in a food warehouse and I can’t help but check dates on products, so I noticed! Also, Robin Hood, the wonderful Alan Rickman 💚 love that movie!

Loved this one Jen, its interesting to see the things you miss from the UK! Knew it was mango chutney 😉 also oatcakes for me are something different - I'm used to 'staffordshire oatcakes' but cant get them in Leicester 😓 and I defo prefer caramac to the Cadbury version😘💞
