This hair style and colour. 🔥blonde gets so scraggly after a certain length and the layers get awkward this is definitely my next salon appointment inspired look. Very classy.

I was just thinking that too! I ordered some about 6 months ago in black and I am a 12 on a "good day". They are so generously sized I really need to go and get a size 10 - to highlight the waist. They are really cute! I was leary due to the price...I thought it would be on the "cheap" end or "too good to be true" but these are great, and hold up very well. Just order a size smaller, I tend to be small in the waist and curvier in the hips, again - very flattering for "hourglass" shaped (or like me these days ... bottom-heavy :)

Agreed!! And to follow maybe a video on how to work the whole what was considered to be "no nos" in the past as far as pairing things you think of as opposites together. Ex: combat boots and leather jackets with feminine skirts and dresses.. The lingerie bodysuit with a blazer.. The sneakers with dress pants.. It seems this whole pairing traditional opposites is a trend and would love to see how to pull it off! :)

I would love videos on styling my own fat apple body, but really I don't NEED it. I know what looks good on me and what doesn't. What I crave is the inspiration your videos provide. There are lots of things I can incorporate into my wardrobe in one form or another and there are many that I cannot. That's my body and that's life. I would love to see a video on selecting pieces for a professional work headshot. I don’t want to wear the standard black blazer but need something that’s still relatively conservative. Perhaps the video could also discuss a simple way to recognize what basic colors look good on ones self as well!

Just bought very similar black pants with the pleats and belt, but without the paper bag effect at Target yesterday. Better for short waisted and /or busty women who need to minimize around the middle.

Definitely do a traditional as well. And I have a suggestion, you say you can do a half tuck with this pants or whatever. When you suggest that, I would love to see you actually show that as well. If you make a suggestion that you are not wearing, I would love for you to insert pics or something to show that as well. I am visual and I like to see stuff. Funny story...More and more, I’m wearing cool sneakers with dressier clothes because my son told me, “Mom, you really need to get with the sneaker trend” (his exact words). 😂 I have a feeling this “trend” is going to be around for good though because there are a lot of women (like me) that are sick of being uncomfortable in heels!!

I would be very interested in a traditional black pants video. I love Bucket Waist pants, but they dont flatter my body shape at all.
So you inspired me to buy some new black slacks. They aren’t quite a bucket waist. But they are high wasted with a tie and wide leg. I went into Anthropologie today and saw these very expensive lol $130 pants! But man were they amazing on and so flattering! I never thought I’d do a high waist. I’m only 5 feet tall and have a shorter torso to begin with. But the way they are cut, they are so flattering. I have quite a bigger toosh compared to my waist and they are fitted so that it looks really good and flows nicely. Taking straight to the tailor tomorrow as they didn’t have the petite ones. They are a perfect summer weight too! I’ve been buying less and spending more on quality and it’s really paying off. Fit and quality matter!

OMG, this is me...black pants almost everyday! I do have all kinds and had been on a lookout for high waisted, non-skinny leg ones recently. I've found great ones at Banana Republic for my body type (I'm heavy around my middle, not much of a waist) and the BR ones are super flattering!! I've found that if I add a wider belt to the pants I can mimic the paperbag look without the bulk. The belt makes my middle look sleeker.

I am on a journey of more minimalism so styling basics is perfect for me! Too much fast fashion these days and buy buy buy pushed on us consumers in my opinion. It makes us fill up our closet with so much that we just can't possibly wear it all! So wasteful. Basics are where its at. :) Also, I love the sneaker trend. Makes wearing a dress or dress pant so cute and fun when paired with a cute pair of sneaks which can also be a basic.

I really love the pants and how you style them! The sheen on them is really gorgeous. I personally love this pant style with pumps or mules especially. I have become obsessed with higher waist pants that are tapered because I’m petite and think it works well on a petite body type.

Great video. I have been calling these paper bag pants. You should name the video to reflect the pants style - it’s more reflective of content and helpful for styling a new trend. Can you do a video styling different work pant silhouettes? So, different shoes and outfit ideas and shoes for a range of pants from cigarette pants to boot leg or wide leg?

Great pants - love the look, although I couldn't wear as I carry all my weight in the waist and tummy. I have a question on the sneaker look - I think they look so cool, but is there an age limit? I've seen them on older women my age, but they are usually the ones with a fantastic short spiky haircut and cool clothes. I'm not that cool, although I do try, but at 5' and slightly chunky, not sure if I could pull this off. Would love your thoughts.

Hi Erin, I have been really enjoying your recent videos. I've loved all of them, from the beginning, but they just seem to get better all the time. This one on the black pant was perfect for me at this time. Please do a traditional higher waist black pant and maybe video with a high rise work trouser in some different colors -- e.g., black, grey, navy, camel and other work appropriate colors and good tops, etc to style them with. Btw, you're paralleling your vids; you seem to be getting prettier all the time. I always think to myself, "This woman can't get any more beautiful." And then -- you do! Ya better stop that ! Yes for traditional black pant video. Since you are planning for video on basics for this year it would be helpful if you can also do a series on diff types of denim/ jean style...pick one style at a time and do a video which shows diff brands in that style to go for, how to style them, how it should fit etc...jeans is one clothing piece you dont need to think too much specially if you are in a hurry... wear a jeans with t shirt or a shirt, nice watch, a nice sunglass and a nice footwear and you are ready to go...😊
