Every game mattered, the knockout rounds, nobody went down easy which made for amazing close games, star studded teams showed the power they truly hold, underdog stories, and my personal favorite, the best v the best with everything on the line! I love the story behind the Czech team. They're gonna go back to the Czech Republic and continue their normal lives as teachers, electricians, and neurologists, after they, among other things, struck out Shohei Ohtani and cranked a homer out of the Tokyo Dome for a W. Crazy story behind those guys.

As a Canadian, I always thought that baseball was mostly played in the USA and a few other countries but I realize that the game is now played in several countries around the world. This is absolutely great for the game. There is so much talent in many countries. As a hockey fan also, the same thing is happening with hockey. I don’t know if the pitcher from Nicaragua (Hebbert) has been drafted by a MLB team but make no mistake, this guy is ready to play in the major leagues. He will be sensational.
As an American I would love to see a couple Mexican teams in MLB. This tournament was like the Olympics of baseball and it was awesome. Many props to all the teams in the final, especially Japan. Ohtani vs Trout duel was legendary, but Mexico vs Japan was another thing all together. A lot happened on that game and honestly it feels like some Shonen Manga stuff there. How Japan almost lost everything, with a monster called Randy Arozarena, and then Yoshida game changing Homer. Epic

Murakami was a Big Dog in this series. He’s the one that got them to the Final with that double. You can’t find any flaws in this Japanese team: cool under pressure and so fundamentally sound!!
What’s crazy is that Murakami was struggling all tournament, but he contributed exactly enough to get Japan the champion. The walkoff yes but he also scored 1 home run in the finals, a game that had exactly a 1 run difference
