I am in Indiana and we stack the hay on edge because it keeps better that way.

Better get in the habit of lowering that forklift when moving. Lower center of gravity is more stable and and less likely to bang the top of the building one day. My guys hit the garage door here 3x (once each for three guys). Cost me $1300 to replace the door. The other door cost $300 to have the frame bent back out so the door could close. LOWER THE LIFT always when moving or going through openings. One of our forklifts' mast is always a lot higher than the load for some reason. The other stays about level with the load.

Mark Givens yes, I have the toe grabber from Kuhn’s that goes on the front of a skid steer. It works really well.

Did you have to run hydraulic outlets for the grapple on the forklift?

Does kuhn make a bale grabber specifically for a forklift?

SteelEagle33 I had it retrofitted to the forklift and used the side shift hydraulics to operate it.

Nick Kleiman That is god damn awesome man. Would you do a video doing an in depth on how it's mounted to the carriage?

SteelEagle33 I just saw your request. I’ll work on getting one together the next time I have it out.

Nick Kleiman thanks a bunch sir. I'm a forklift mechanic by day and I help run my uncle's dry farm/hay operation on the side so this stuff is awesome for me haha.

What is the brand of the Hay Grapple that you used, and where can i get one.

Kuhns Mfg. makes the grabber, I found a machine shop that was able to mount a quick attachment bracket to the grabber. Converted the side shift hydraulics to work for the grabber.
