    I am amazed that no one person has commented on this compilation on Shaw. Well, then allow me to be the first to thank you for sharing them. It is indeed wonderful to see and hear the man as I had not done before.

    Thank you for this. As to being amazed, I am certainly amazed that no one has commented on Colin Wilson's statement that Shaw is the greatest writer that England has produced. Nature or nurture or not Shaw or not sure...? He was Irish, wasn't he?

      See Colin Wilson's "Bernard Shaw, a Reassessment" for Wilson's feelings on how England changed Shaw. It's actually a very good book.
