You know it’s inspiring to hear someone as talented as Revis admit that the pressure to preform weighs heavily on his shoulders. Let’s me know I’m not alone. I’m in a high pressure industry and I know I can handle it, I know I’m talented, I know I’m built for this but I still feel the pressure, I can still feel self doubt. This just lets me know I’m not alone and that is a big help.

It’s imperative that shows like this continue to use their platform to demonstrate a working blueprint for vulnerability, transparency self-reflection and reconciliation. Truly proud out this panel of men. It’s true that self is often compromised and can remain emotionally stagnant and neglected because of our external obligations, responsibilities and diminished awareness. Growth is sharpening your self-awareness, extending yourself grace & patience and establishing self-acceptance. We so easily extent to others what we need to be gifting ourselves; The opportunity to be heard, nurtured and supported. Cheers to embracing and cultivating healthy emotional health and wellness. Also when he said he doesn’t want to play football anymore that shows he’s on the right path to being happy. Many times players have an issue with the transition after football because they feel like they have more to give the game. Sounds like he’s at peace with it. Great episode again. Donovan will not come on this show because he won’t answer whatever questions you have. Trust me. After watching TO speak about their relationship, I believe TO with my WHOLE heart. Yeah he’s moody, etc., but he was also painted as the villain because it was easy to do so. My son is 17 now but when he was in elementary school he used to get in trouble all the time so when things would happen that he might not have been involved with they always pointed the finger at him because of prior incidences. That’s what I believed happened a lot of times with TO.

The problem is Champ played in a very small media market in Denver. As great as guys like Prime, Revis, Green, Williams, and both Woodson's were at CB, Champ Bailey literally went a whole season (2006) where he was targeted 35 times, had 10 ints, 21 PBU's and allowed only 4 catches all season. Didn't give up not one TD from 2006 up until the 2008 season where he gave up his first TDs after going damn near 2 years straight without giving up a TD.
I'm not taking away nothing from the other guys, but I am tired of the Champ Bailey disrespect from media which trickles down to the fans because a lot of fans don't know how great Champ was because he didn't get the hype like his counterparts did that played in bigger markets.

I know that because I watched both closely during their careers, and B Marsh was and still is one of my favorite wide receivers ever, and Revis was and still is my favorite cornerback ever! I studied most their matchups throughout, especially those Jets training camp practice battles on film when B Marsh eventually joined Revis in NY in 2015... Intense battles all the time!

Watching from Africa. And enjoying the sight of string black men speaking on life issues for the world to know we are more than athletes and entertainers. We are thoughtful people.

Amen, Chad, Brad, Revis and the group. This was cathartic to hear these superstars share their mental health struggles vulnerably. Hits home after relapsing with my own PTSD this past weekend.
Sincerely thanks to these guys and the I AM ATHLETE production for putting this out there.
    🙏

This episode brought joy to my soul!!! I am a former football player that wasn't fortunate enough to make it to the big leagues, but I still BLEED FOOTBALL!!!! This group of KINGS, i commend and look up to. I've watched everyone get drafted and rise to success and I'm 36! Thank you for creating this platform, thank you for being vulnerable, thank you for being transparent. Be blessed and keep doing what yall is doing.
