Gosling graduating to the minicreche has made my day. It’s good to see that his incessant chomping is being put to good use towards chomping down grapes to make him bigger and stronger. His feisty nature has been an asset in his recovery, I’d wager. He’s just such a character!
Oh, so happy for Gosling! He's truly mastered the art of grape chompery, after several false starts, and should grow up to be a happy and well-adjusted young batty.
Those little chomps, ot looks exhausting, bless him. Great j0b meg & carers, its heartwarming to see a happy ending. Im so happy to see him well and with friends ❤❤❤❤ I love the birds too ❤❤❤
Meg the thumbnail picture of Gosling is so adorable with his mouth open and yogurt on his nose.😂💕 Those nom-noms are music to my ears. So happy he's a Survivor!🩶🦇🤗🥰
Gosling is gorgeous and eating his weight in food. Looks like he has a lot of friends to help him eat. The birds are beautiful, too and might be singing, 'food, food, food, I love food.'
The record is far beyond his reach at this stage, however since he's a survivor he's got a lot of time to grow his mouth and hone his survival chipmunk skills and capacity
I miss the bird performances from my balcony in Kirribilli. One delightful magpie couple built their nest right in front of me. One flew, with a rather large wire object, stolen from someones yard, carrying it in his beak . Finishing touches for the nest, I guess. Quite the sight at the time 😅
@mrsbigbug Welcome to Megabattie, I'm Meg I put lots of information in the descriptions under the videos - so if you have questions, look for the answers there first. I also put the fate of the animal if I know it, at the time I put the video up. I may put updates there later if I find out what happened to the animal after it has left my care. There is also a Happy Outcomes playlist if you want to only watch videos where the bat survives; this is a real life channel and you get the good, the bad, the ugly and distressing, and even my oopsies. You can find further videos on an individual bat by searching in the YT search bar for Megabattie/and the name of the bat you want to follow. There is a community tab (like a mini Facebook page) on my channel - if you go to Megabattie home page, there is a menu bar across the top under the cover pic. Home, Videos, Playlists, Community, About. If you click on the community tab there are posts there where I can share pix and talk about some of the videos I put up and answer questions. I put up videos from Mandi and my rescue and care videos, so look to the title or description to figure out the context of the vids. Mandi doesn't rescue but she does a huge amount of rehabbing and has a lot of permanent care bats unable to be released for various reasons. She sends me the most amazing videos of her old retired bats in care; they've all got individual personalities and adorable quirks. Mandi lives 1200 kms away from me so I don't get to visit there often. I raise money for her on the videos. The rescue vids from my point of view are all mine, and if you hear me talking and see my hands in the videos doing bat care, then that's me too.

Gosling has become a megastar, I was in the UK this week and I was watching his progress there aswell. When he was in Maggies arms that was just adorable, she was cooing over him and he was soaking it all up, and the mystery pee's xxx
Of all the baby batties watched here, this little guy has been exasperatingly entertaining: the private incubator loo, sneaky bites, living on honey sugar candy. Until he met Maggie, when he melted into bat goo and fluff like all the previous little souls. Bring on the free feed food buckets and water bottles to learn. Hope we get to see you fly off forever, Gosling.
I wake up to Pixel making the same repetitive song; Babylon sleeps inside with Princess Fluffy Duck, but Chirps and Pixel stay outside; I can't easily catch Pixel without a lot of stress, so I just leave him out with his boyfriend Chirps for company, but Pixel starts at dawn and is relentless.
@@thepunpolice11 LOL I wish. Well they kind of do; in Sydney when summer is over, people throw away their fans rather than cluttering up their life with a fan taking up space. They just buy a new fan the next season. I go around collecting them and seeing if they work. Sometimes I have a collection of them in my storage cage which I either give away or use when one of my fans stops working. I've got one at home which is on a go slow now so it's on its last legs. But I'm sure I've got more fans in the wings ready as replacements. And the local freecycling pages also have them listed every autumn, so I collect more.
He looks like he's trying to beat the record for amount of grapes in his mouth at one time. What does he need to do it . . . only another 25? 🤣 It's nice to see one doing so well, it's been a while it seems.
It's a food guarding thing; survival means assuring your food supply and making sure nobody else steals it; if the bat comes into care hungry it will automatically try to take as much as it can just in case it gets taken away or someone tries to steal it

The full cheeks at the beginning, adorable.
I just love these puffy cheeks when they eat and these nom noms are just adorable!
Such a cutie pie!!!💙🦇💙🦇💙
He sure has improved while in care. They are the sweetest animals.
Oh look at those little stuffed cheeks! 😍 ❤
Good to see Gosling aka Sideswipe is doing well!
Well, someone's trying to break the most-grapes-in-mouth record it seems 🥰
So frickin happy how he turned out 🥰❤️🦇❤️

I'm so glad that little Mr. high flyin Ryan Gosling has turned out to be survivor and has done so well. 😊
It was a bit iffy there for a while and I had my doubts
Just breaks my heart how sweetly precious each adorable soul is.
Adoro vederli mangiare con quelle boccucce e gli occhietti dolci. 🦇🥰❤️ super felice nel vederlo così attivo! Good job ! 👍👏😍
👍
Go go Gosling - well done bat women.
Well done! He's so freaking cute. Such a darling face.

Such endearing comments about Gosling are so accurate and true. He has been a joy. 🦇💕👍

His gray makes him look like a old man. He's a feisty one. Love that he made it.
I love the silvery headed babies

I was worried about him too for the first couple of days
It's so nice to have a successful outcome. Hope you are having fun with your twin.
It has been disgustingly hot and humans and we've both been melting and spending a lot of time under fans
Do the fans reproduce like the scissors?

Meg, piccy line delayed until tues. Not quite ready i believe. Whats another day !
Me alegro mucho de que el pequeño Gosling haya mejorado y sea liberado. Estaba muy gracioso con la nariz manchada de yogur.
Gosling is looking better and better every day. And I must mention Babylon in the background "cheering" Gosling ........??🤨
Babylon, singing to the sky and doing a rain dance.
😇❤️🖤🦇🖤❤️
Chipmunk cheeks!
as Batzilla is known to say
Don't tell me you watch her too? I thought you were exclusive to me and my charms and acerbity.
I'll be visiting her later maybe next week

Do the flying fox bats normally hang in tne trees like that with tree branches and the leaves?
they live in large colonies in trees in the sun during the day
