Detroit Lake State Park is one of the largest campgrounds in the entire Oregon State Parks system with more than 271 campsites to choose from. The campground sits on the shores of the Detroit Lake Reservoir in the Willamette National forest and is roughly an hour east of Salem.
The campground is split into two major loops and sub loops within those. There are plenty amenities at this campground ranging from full hookups to a camp store, boat launch and swimming areas.
