SIEMENS TK76K573: How to Clean Coffee Machine Manually

The coffee maker (machine) needs to be cleaned regularly. The machine itself has a built in cleaning capability, but it doesn't include coffee grinder cleaning. The grinder needs to be cleaned manually.

How to turn that wheel, were the brewing unite is? i cant unlock the red plastic lock, at 2.20.....

Hi Ken, i suspect your red plastic lock is jammed due to dried coffee debris.
Once you unlock the red little button you must push the red big button and pull out the brewing unit gently.

I’ve used a stick, ie for sateh, to run it through the milk tube to get all the gunk out.

I once dismanled the brewing unit into pieces. I had to do it really careful since it is made of brittle plastic. It works to clean up stuck coffee.

@@homeworker4965 I clean it out thoroughly but it gets full of coffee after 3 cups. It's as if the coffee isn't making it through to the bit it should be dumped. Trying to avoid the ridiculous 99 pound Siemens call out charge!

Ah... ok. Understand. I believe the brewing unit is not fully functional.
One of its task is to wipe out grinded coffee.
Then, I think it is time to change it. I did it once.
