In fact, the game is from 2003. It was released for the XBOX and, years later, ported to PS2 and PC. But the graphics are just the same for all version... i played them all.
One would've thought with all the time they must've put into making the track they could've at least given us a decent seires of ending like the old Outrun...
I used to like playing Outrun and Turbo Outrun as a kid. Now looking back to this kind of driving games makes then seem rather ridiculous. The speedometer states 307 km/h but still the other cars like pickup trucks and busses seem to run almost as fast. Comparing their speed to player's car it seems to be around 200 km/h. Kinda Funny. ;)
@VectorOmega If that game's actually OutRun 2 (XBox) ported, then its Manual says each mode has a different girl, though you're always Alberto. "Jennifer (OutRun Companion): A super rich young lady who sits in the passenger seat in the Outrun Mode. She is selfish and always is asking for a thrill, but the hero and Jennifer love each other. She gave him a Ferrari. She keeps an eye on the hero's driving techniques."
Not meant to disrespect Italians as I like Italian cars, but why are there only Ferrari cars in this game? They should've put the other brands too like Ford, Dodge, Renault, Peugeot, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Lada? Or at least Fiat, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, both new and old cars alongside the Ferrari ones. you know, make a true lil Gran Turismo out of this game.

Outrun 2006, Mario Party 4 and Way of the Samurai are my favorite games! (and I know they aren't that good but I love them)

actually ferrari painted the road cars yellow, the racing cars was painted red.
@tumppuri not true my man, the top speed of Dino in this game is 288 kmh, F50 307 kmh, Testarossa 310 kmh and Enzo Ferrari, 317 kmh
