I am a new mother as well and I 100% feel this everyday! I never thought that I was alone in this feeling, I know all mothers have this. But hearing your experience somehow makes me feel better that I have the same feelings. I am sorry if that is not reading right, I am trying to articulate correctly. I hope that your mother guilt starts to lift because I am sure you are doing everything you can to make your daughter and families life the best it can be.

Thank you so much for saying that!! Today I told me fiancé that the day I sat on the couch w our daughter I felt so guilty and he was like "why?? I wish you could find time to do that everyday!". That somehow gave me validation I didn't realize I needed (and probably shouldn't need). You sound like a great mom too and that you truly care about making the right decisions for your family. I'm over here cheering you on!! I doubt the truly neglectful moms ever feel this way.
