Vita-mana rooms give max hp upgrades, which do heal you as well. But tbh I just try to never get hit and always choose the blue Osha upgrade called "Slowly But Surely" which gives you +10 defense until you get hit next. But takes 8 seconds of no combat to get the defense. I find it to be extremely helpful. Especially if you get the spell card to go with it, that gives you +2 defense for each cast. Get a ton of mana reserves and just spam spells. Taking damage isn't much a problem till late game if you do this. I hope this a little bit, I'm relatively new and only have like 20 hours.
This game is absolutely golden. It combines all the best aspects of 2D sliders into one. It’s like if Hollow Knight, Dead Cells, Hades, Ori, and Darksiders Genesis all did a collab lol
I've been played more than 250 hours with Dead Cells. All my runs gradually feel like the same and I got tired, bored. Until one day, I played this amazing game and it really cured my hunger for another rouge-lite game.
This game combines the controls of hollow knight, the concept of Dead Cells, the difficulty of Hades, the art style of Ori and the humor of Darksiders Genesis. Honestly this is probably my favorite game. Ever.
The success of beating the game does not only rely on the equipment you have, but also on the curses you choose. Like for example, choosing the level 2 Retaliate curse that gives you +1 permanent max damage/hp/mana can make you go through the game easy as pie, no matter what cloaks/spells you have.
Yeah Its sowmthing thst I hope I get in a roll every time. Combine it with a 5 plus shield for 10 secs retaliate curse and then you can grind damage points by simply letting yourself get hitted by a weak opponent.
I did not know about the secret rooms ! My best tip for this game is to buy only a select few items, which will increase your chances of getting them (ex : mosquitoes, rainbow, bees). If you bought them all, I would start a new game. I like to be a caster with the umbrella. Also, when you are going up a curse tree, you might want to consider favoring lower level curses first or else you might reach the end of the tree too fast.
Waldo is tough! The key is to have a ton of damage so you can just power through the chainsaw phase. That's the one that is most annoying for me. Maybe save up frenzy and unleash it once he gets out of his spider suit

I found that if you're charging up the scythe, you can hit dash and do an attack from looking through the menus. It's a nice way to get out of the way of an attack
A major exploit ive found in this game, if you’re struggling with a certain Sorrow, Thanager, or even if you just are in an area with pretty much no health, the game runs very similar to Dead Cells, and has a similar glitch or I guess input to it, but whenever you die, as soon as you die, close your game, (preferably when the book flies towards the screen), you will not do a reset of the run, instead, the game will load you back at the same area you were at with the same stats and you would just be arriving there, but you can’t pul this off if you wait too long and you see the death skull on your screen, then youll be passed the window and youll be at the CEOs office
I’m confused. When you die, what do you do to continue? I was fighting Waldo and I died, what do I do now? I don’t get how to continue the game when I die :( please help
@@fifelipeignacio You always start by going through the elevator with the ghost. Once you have leveled up enough to unlock the elevator that goes to the bosses it will be just to the left of the first elevator you leave.

I’m here way late. As an old filthy casual I love this game so far, but man it is making my head spin with all the pieces to put in place. do you have to go through first department & first boss every time to go to the second department? it’s so frustrating you can’t start directly at a certain department after dying

I just got the game but haven’t started yet. Does it have a save function similar to Dead Cells? Like after you’ve defeated an executive and if you have to stop playing the game will save there between floors until you die and have to start over from the beginning?
This is a roguelike, so you have to start from the first level again and work your way through the game again. This style of game has you doing differen "runs" where you gather a unique set of power-ups and weapons and try to get as far as you can.
It's pretty amazing! The fact that it's a platformer makes it feel quite different. If you'd like to try another amazing roguelike I recommend Skul: The Hero Slayer. I have many videos on the channel about that one :D
Yeah, there aren't really builds in this game exactly. You just need to keep going to equipment, cloak, and spell floors till you find something good enough. I will do a video going over what I would spend ingots on first though. There are a few spells that are amazing for any run 😊
I love everything about the game except the fact that runs are so rng dependent. Maybe it’s just me cuz I don’t have as much time in the game as others but Dead Cells, Hades, Skul I can win every time..but if I get a string of lame options for curses in Have a Nice Death I end up losing. Taking damage is very punishing and a run can go to hell in like a few seconds
This games amazing just got it on gamepass, great video as well, on hint to the creator of vod, short for tip videos like this i find myself less likely to like, sorry but heres why YT works on an algorithm, your tip videos a niche video most people watched 1 of based off link and thumbnail in-between matches during a toilet break, 2nd tip vods are game specific, rarely will i watch a 2nd tips vod especally on a short game like this, 3rd tip vods are searched for no one wants their YT feed full of tip vods, most want commentators or other long form entertainment popping up in their feed, making us less likely to like under the reason that it tends to destroy your feed after liking just a few vods a day, i understand it short sights you as a creator, but this is where it comes on creators to cover more forms of entertainment, my recomndation if you want a long youtube career make vods like this to get you attention from veiwers and then diffrent content to reel in likes and subs, wether gaming commentary anything interesting works, and your vods are already more likely to pop up in my feed due to watching your tips vod without liking, meaning any good vods youve put out that i or most didnt have to search to find are more likely to get a sub and likes, this being said this is probably one of the highest quality tips videos that I've ever seen and had the most respectful fast-paced ask for like ever this is a very good VOD and I will like

These guide videos are designed to be a first look for viewers, then hopefully they either tune in to other gameplay videos or maybe a live stream on Saturday mornings (US central time). I am always trying to think of good ways to get people to subscribe and also catch other videos!

When you use a golden anima to unlock a secret door, you get better loot.

I have died at the hands of brad so many times. Im like this is the first boss of the game and i cannot beat it.
Just learn his pattern and it's fairly easy
cmon man he has like 4 attacks just use the dash

Those are some good tips. I'd feel a little bummed if I couldn't try out all the cloak abilities and spells though 😕

You will have to fight your way back to those bosses. That is part of the rogue like genre!

When you level up it unlocks an elevator you can use to jump right to different bosses

When after you take your deals, get your new scythe, then turn back left and take the elevator. You will have a choice of what boss to skip to

Hi, in beginning of the video you're starting a run with a upgraded scythe but I've heard there is not permanent upgrade, how did you do that ?
You can unlock a way to take "deals" before the run. One of those includes a deal to take some damage but receive the ranged scythe at the start!

The legendary weapons are way too good compared to everything else
It does have a lot of RNG. I felt like I was able to figure it out, but yeah, it doesn't have consistent runs. There are a LOT of curses.

The game has suffered from some optimization issues, I'd say verify the install and maybe adjust the graphics settings if you can
