I always research before I enter a place bc I’m curious. But the owner a man in his 60s (who I wont say) was arrested in August of 2019 due to insurance fraud and falsely reporting an incident. The owner bought the place in may of 2017. In April there were reports of fights which led to gunshots. The property lost its liquor license and the health department closed the bar bc there was a huge mouse infestation. A year prior, the pool and an entire wing of rooms (the bad ones in your video) were shit down due to rodents and unsafe conditions. The other half was open slightly longer. (Explains your video) it’s now in foreclosure. On august 20th 2019 gates fire Marshall posted “no occupancy”. It’s been empty since. Nice video brotha!
I’m definitely obsessed with this video now 😂 the hotel was built in 1972, my dad had his junior prom there in 1978. I have a little bit of old home video of the pool in 1990 if you are interested I can send it to you.
I don't know if my commet has any significance but; this hotel means alot to me and has a special place in my heart. After my parents got divorced me and my m9m and brother moved to the states to lice with out grandparents. We were living in singapore at the time and I guess you can say my parents never really worked it out. After a couple years, my dad would go see me and my brother every year during the holidays and we would spend time with him at this very hotel. We did so many things in this place and this will be a 0lace that I will never forget.
It always amazes me why usable stuff like chairs and lamps and such could not have been donated to charities instead of letting it get ruined like that. They will eventually bulldoze the building and those kinds of things could have helped charities!
I had to wait the owner and maintenance guys out when I went there. And they tried to take my bike. I will never go back. I got lucky. There IS and alarm inside.

I think most of it was already infested with bugs 😣 based on google reviews it seems like it was getting really gross right before it closed
