We are off the ice and on to Open water. Join us for our first open water action of the year where we target Perch from shore. What a crazy day of Perch fishing action. We got on a crazy Perch bite and caught well over 100 of them. In this video we give you some tips and tricks for targeting Perch from shore.
Panfish is not something I typically target, but will be more often now after this trip. We hit the first wave of perch, and the bite is only going to get better and better. We take you through our gear, perch strategies, and perch tips.
We encourage you to leave comments below on any tips/tricks you suggest for catching perch.

It's fun fishing for perch. Even the little guys are tenacious feeders.
It's nice to hear Americans just calling them perch, rather than yellow perch. The fins on the ones here in Ireland are a flaming red/orange.

Love perch fishing, taste great but getting harder to find without parasites, did you notice any white worms in the gills?
This I agree with. I never really keep them to eat anyways, but did not notice any worms in these ones. It's a shame that it's more common these days
