I started playing in 1976 on a Yamaha acoustic guitar. Then in 78 my brother's friend brought over a Yamaha SG. Well he left it at our house along with a Kustom amp. We had a phaser and a big muff fuzz. I learned to play so many songs on that rig. About 2 years later, the state police came to our house asking about stolen property. Turned out the guitar and amp was stolen and my Bros friend was a thief. I was so heartbroken to see that guitar and amp go, but happy the owner got his stuff back.
I been going through everything I can find on these babies cause I just got one cause a friend of mine has one & I searched for one got one traded for a 2013 sg 61-R & what a sleeper. definitely a les Paul killer amazing peace of work. 🙌👏👏 great playing by the way 👏👏👏👌
Beautiful playing on one of the best ever solid body guitars. I see the pups were replaced. With what??? The original pups in these are very rich and sweet. Wonderful demo.
I like the body design as it reminds me of first guitar epiphone genesis. That was not a great guitar but i didnt know. Open to any good guitar that looks like it

The Pickups changed in early 80s to Gibson "Bill Lawrence" humbucker
