- A fake iceberg at the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, collapsed and sent three visitors to the hospital. The scaled-down replica iceberg was modeled after the real thing, which sank the RMS Titanic in 1912. On Facebook, the museum’s operators delivered an update. “Our maintenance professionals are in the process of reevaluating our quality and safety guidelines and we’ll make all modifications, as necessary,” they wrote. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.

Just went there, the iceberg wall is not the one outside, it’s a chunk of actual iceberg inside that you used to be able to touch and feel how cold it was, it was in the same section as the ice cold water where you get to test how long you can endure of that water by putting your hand in it until you can’t handle it anymore. Both the water and the iceberg were the same temperature as they were when the titanic sunk in 1912.
Wow. I didn't think such a museum could be maybe tacky, or in a more uncommon place or that anything could make it a worse place than perhaps that one issue of location. But, I can see the ads now; "Come try your luck at the not freezing to death and/or drowning ride! Icy FUN for the whole family!!"

@@ntvypr4820 LOL, the test there isn't really made for a test, it's more of to show you how cold it was, and to really get you to understand what people had to go through hours/minutes of. Most people do, however, try and see how long they can last, because that's common. If you're wondering, I only could hold it for about 4 seconds.

I visit that museum on vacation almost every year(was actually thinking of going this week) and can’t believe that happened. Despite this, it’s an amazing museum and I’ve explored it top to bottom numerous times
I didn't even know this existed.

My friend’s daughter stood right next to wall when the wall collapsed. She luckily only got some bruises on her legs. The lady next to her was airlifted to the hospital. Hope she got better.

Edit: if you’re wondering what on earth i’m on about, Titanic had 2 Almost Identical Sister Ships, The Olympic & The Britannic,
Unfortunately The Britannic suffered the same fate as Titanic to a Naval mine in 1916 whilst serving as a Hospital (taking only 30 people out of the 1060 aboard thankfully), but Olympic Survived WW1, and was Retired in 1935.
That there In the Video were videos Of The OLYMPIC Arriving and meandering after Departing in New York in 1922.

Sounds to me like some of those visitors were doing something they weren't suppose to be doing. Like, you know, climbing on the iceberg when they shouldn't have been. Things like that don't usually just 'collapse' unless something is forcing it to collapse like extra weight.
Also that "iceberg" is in a pond surrounded by a railing. If it collapsed no one should have been injured, unless they were standing right next to it.
I went there last winter, it’s a really cool experience. Hope the people injured get well soon.

Ok hi A month back we went to Tennessee to do many things like Dollywood, Dinner Theaters, Museum's, Skylifts, Glassbridge. Ect
However one of the Museum's was the Titanic museum and I'm glad we went then and not now.
It’s so weird I was literally there less than a week before. Hearing a few days later that it fell and injured three people was shocking.
I’ve been there, I was a toddler, but I remember it and the stairs. I hope to go there again in the future now that I’m older and can experience it and know what tf is going on 😂

The Great Smokey Mountains and Pigeon Forge, Tn. Tourism Commission knocked it outta the ballpark on this one.
