    Wonderful stuff! Do you really think you will be able to hold out until October? ;) Great walk through. Now thank your camera person (wife suspected) and get down to the down time.

    Your system is so elegant. Love how you can just lay those tiles down without any worry whatsoever about dealing with the walls. Walls become a zero issue with your system :) So quick to setup your rooms. Love it.

    Now this is what i call a finale! The dungeon looks awesome and features both combat encounters and puzzles, which is something not all adventures have. The fact that you have tutorials for everything in the temple is beyond awesome. It is more than s few steps up from my current set up, which is just game paper and half assed paper minis. I definitely plan on using this when my current group gets to level 5.

    Well said. Absolutely loved your series. I made a couple of tiles last night to vet out tonight with my dm tonight.
    With my home campaign, my wife who is visually impaired likes the tiles as it gives her some idea on how the grid is set out. Thanks again for the idea of the grid.

    Thanks for the shout out. I have been plugging away at my modular tiles. How many of each tile do you have or recommend having? Love your organizational set up. I am loving these tiles so much that it has motivated me to finally get around to finishing my modular tiles and that is no small feat. Looking forward to your return. Maybe by then I will have done everything from these first 17 videos.

      Tabletop Gaming with Juce I think around 16 of each style. You end up needing a surprising amount of dead-ends, since the players often reach the end of a hallway before entering any rooms, so there aren't any neighboring tiles placed yet to serve as walls.

    • @MastertheGamerpg
      @MastertheGamerpg 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wyloch's Crafting Vids Ok cool. I think I am on pace to have that many of each. Thanks again!

    • @WylochsArmory
      @WylochsArmory  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tabletop Gaming with Juce But the approach I take, and recommend, is to simply design your next adventure. Look at the map, and only build the tiles you need for that map. Now design a second adventure. Look at that map. Try and build it...whatever you are missing, build only that. Play. Third adventure...and so on. After 3-4 evolutions, I think you will find that you no longer need to build more tiles.

    • @MastertheGamerpg
      @MastertheGamerpg 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wyloch's Crafting Vids Yeah that is a great method right there. I am a last minute prepper though so that method doesn't usually work for me. I need to work on making time far in advance so I could implement this.
      I've had some good sessions recently where I've prepped most of them right after the previous session.
      I know you are on break but I would love to see how you handle forests, and wilderness terrain with this style.

    Hey, Wyloch! Just bought the module, and I'm looking forward to reading through it. I've also been making a ton of 2.5" tiles, but I'm starting to worry that I am out of control. I'm pretty sure this has been asked and answered before, so please forgive the repetition, but... Do you have a certain number of each type of tile that you recommend, sort of a standard toolkit for the average dungeon? I don't want to go ahead and produce 50 side tiles if I am only going to end up using 8, if you see what I am getting at.
    Thanks in advance, and I'll be looking forward to the next season.

    • @WylochsArmory
      @WylochsArmory  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep, my usual answer is: design your next dungeon, and build only what you need to display that dungeon. Do the same next time...you will find you only need a few times to bridge the gap. After my fourth iteration, I have never made any again. It is highly dependant on your personal style. You might use a lot more hallways than I do, etc.
