- ► Boiler Room presents ‘TRANSITION' - a singular visual experience by the visionary Chilean-American artist and the world's leading underground music channel.
Shot in Brooklyn at the now-defunct DIY venue Aviv in September 2016, the film takes a cue from Jaar’s semi fictitious network of interlocking radio stations as well as his latest studio album 'Sirens'.
From its very first enigmatic scene to the unmissable ending, ‘TRANSITION' is an unscripted POV journey into one night in NY at a transitional time in America.

Imagine the energy as you did let the world of the curious child, the little you, come forth, believe and let all the chatter of conditioning fade. Let the doubts remake themselves into releasing the emotions or energy into any sound you make. Dare and do, take the trip into the unexpected and let the limitations and opinions of others go because the people who doubt you are figuring the same within themselves. Find the solitude even though it feels scary or confusing. The unconscious and dreams mixing with all dimensions of this realities . You speak with stars. Play for the moon, the softest light dancing. Play for time. Play for nowhere play for you which is also the universe. No limits, the people who admire will be attracted anyhow
Nico is the kind of artist you never know what to expect when you see him play live. The only thing for sure is that he always delivers a unique show, never the same to his previous. Pure creation on the fly
still blows my mind to watch a cell phone video i took of a set closer he did last November. a rendition of "Swim", but TOTALLY different instrumentation, arrangement, etc from his studio track. he is a fuckin GOD at live sound creation

I have seen Nicolas Jaar 3 times live in Munich, one time in Berlin, in my opinion one of the best artist in history.
I wish he would come here again. Not planning on going to USA until next summer and I don't want to wait that long

What an amazing set, Nico is one of the best artist of our generation.
This is a great step forward for Boiler Room. The appeal of Boiler Room has always been to make the viewer feel like a part of the room/dancefloor. This is taking it one step further by filming POV, letting us viewers get even more immersed in the happening and being a part of the dance floor. One step closer to virtual reality Boiler Room :)
This was Jaar's idea or his teams input, it has to be. He's so ahead of the game in all aspects of his art that I have a feeling he wanted this to look exactly as it did, with zero input from Boiler Room. They just said yes fucking please
