I love how well written spiderman is in this run, hes treated with such dignity, respect and put on the pedestal that the character should be, its like hes superman with how daredevil describes his unbreakable code and morality and how hes the best of them it nearly brought me to tears reading it for the first time

You know what North should've done here? 22:52 Should've kissed Kingpin on the cheek right here. An absolute Power Move, and it would've really messed with Wilson's head way more than anything he could've done to North. Missed opportunity, Mr. Zdarsky.
The temperature of this video is very warm and I love it. The red lights and the brown couch coupled with the soft focus of the camera give the video a very cozy feeling. Also, the audio is very full and buttery. Effortless swagger my friend, ComicPop is the epitome of quality content.
I always think of Daredevil and Punisher as the two sides of Batman- The Warrior & the Hero Also I love Zdarsky's writing!! The depiction of Spider-Man is spot on! The miller run while great isn’t needed for modern Daredevil. Id actually say read Guardian Devil, Then Bendis’ run, Waids run, soules run, and then this :) thats what i did
Imo while I’m definitely biased as I’m a huge DD fan, but Daredevil is one of the most consistently well written characters and Chip’s DD run is one of the best runs we’ve had in a long time. That’s not taking away from Soule’s run, but Chip’s run is fantastic
As far as I can recall, the only people Daredevil has ever killed were those guys in the helicopter during Born Again and Bullseye during Shadowland. The helicopter scene was a very special situation and Matt didn't intend to kill anyone but had to stop nuke and the Bullseye kill wasn't even him. So this book very well may be the first time Matt has actually killed someone which is really impressive considering he debuted in the 60s. Great episode!
Well there is the Man Without Fear mini by Miller/Romita Jr, when he did kill someone in self defense and acidentally another. But that mini's place in canon has always been iffy.
I love the fact that Frank Castle saved DareDevil due to a misunderstanding that he believed Double D had started killing criminals. Also, I’m convinced that Castle is similar to the Joker in the sense that he believes other heroes will be Iike him if they just had that one bad day.
I like how the author remembers that Kingpin is a Spider-Man villain so came up with a way to have the Kingpin target him but also not affect the main Spider-Man comics.
That breakdown of who Spider-Man is in Daredevil’s eyes (so to speak) is AMAZING! Spidey is my #1 favorite hero and that was so dope! Spider-Man is so dope!

Just picked this trade up at my comic shop because of Sal’s recommendations. Zdarksy has somehow gotten me more interested in both Howard the Duck and Daredevil.
I am a longtime DD fan. This run has been able to challenge Matthew in ways that do not make him act outside his character while still giving a new and exciting status quo. I am having a blast reading through it and watching this video. I hope there will be more.

This current run of Daredevil and Spider-Man are the best things Marvel has put out in years. Only two books worth reading right now in my opinion.
I just bought the hardcover tpb a couple days ago after finding it at Barnes & Noble it’s awesome and I can’t wait to buy the other volumes of it
