Yes, as the other guy mentioned, you can put your front air dam in service mode. It will drop down. It explains how to do this in your owners manual. Does the extra Lenght of this skid plate cover up the oil drain plug?
Didn't realize it was an option, now I know! It does cover the drain plug as it goes all the way back to the cross-member.
That's a good looking skid!! I can't say it's the beefiest, but sure looks good lol
Just to confirm, the TRD wheel heating option worked?
The Trd skid plate is only 420 usd on Sparks parts...

What do you film with sir? In the garage was very high quality like your thumbnail then it changes when you are under the truck
Why didn't you just put the front auto air defuser in service mode. It will come down

What's the torque specs on the bolts?
Toyota sells these trucks for $70,000 and it doesn't come with a skid plate that is TRD?

You need different bolts set of 6
Does it have to be removed to change the oil and filter or does it allow access?
Yes it does, however it's super simple.
With the TRD off road mine is coming with Skid Plate did yours not?
It did not unforuntately.

Is this skid plate oem? Do the TRD models have this already?
Yes, Toyota OEM TRD, which I believe will be factory on the TRD PRO, my TRD Off Road didn't come with it.

Does the trd skid cover the cats?
It does not, stops at the crossmember.
Dang I was hoping for Cat coverage. I guess I will wait for the aftermarket options.
@@trobmj1 You're not going to fund one that covers the cats. You will have to get two different plates. An engine skid plate and a cat plate.
