How I would troubleshoot the phono amp. I apologize for the bad lighting and sometimes poor focus; I use a cheap camera, have a tiny work bench, and one standing lamp.
The schematics or more appropriately called service manuals of pre 90's electronics are very detailed from page 1 to the tiny 0.05V at pin 3 at IC H401. It significantly cuts the repair stress at times. I think back then, manufacturer knew most repair person do not owned a scope and depend a lot on their DMM. Great video sir. Thanks! Well, those years were the "golden years" of hifi stereo; back then there were lots of repair shops, too. And things were made to be repaired; capitalist logic was not so pervasive like oxygen. Nowadays there is more money to be made by selling new units since growth is compulsive. Imagine if cars, electronics, appliances, etc, were made to last many years...bad for business.
