It's a great game , a little Grindy at times but lots to do, lots to explore, and lots to find to expand your tools and your airship. And to find what you need for your mission. Just remember to scan everything, scan scan scan Enjoy !
Great game 🙂 Can not wait for more. You are are in for some surprises too when you go to the greenhouse variants. I won't spoil it. I do not remember the command, but you will want to check your load capacity.
Just a heads up...when the counter sits around 59-60 FPS it's because your frames are locked at 60. Nvidia FPS counter is weird like that. If you unlocked your frames you'd probably get well over 60 FPS
@@Spanj That's all good, I gotcha. I just meant Nvidia's overlay display tends to show 1 or 2 frames lower than the cap for some reason which causes me to raise the cap to 61 FPS just so the number 59 doesn't drive me crazy (cause I'm crazy like that) edit: If the game offers the option to raise it to 61
I'm curious can you please tell me how you had the solid state battery to make the scanner? You got one up top to put into the panel to get the computer to work then you got one to put into the research bench. Where did you get a third one to make the scanner in the fabricator? I started a new game yesterday and can't make the scanner because I can't find the third solid state battery. But you had one in your inventory when you made your scanner. Please help and tell me how you got 3 battery's. Thank you and I subbed to your channel.
Cool mechanics. However, the issue I have with survival games of this sort is that the challenge is to survive in a world that's not worth surviving in. Nothing but viruses, toxins, and ruined tech. If the game actually allows you to create an ecological niche where you can expand and restore the environment with farms and fields, lakes and and parks, then the motivation would be there.
So long ago since I watched you play this one. Enjoyed that series, quite interested in how much of an update it got. But don’t remember exactly and my lazy bum can’t be arsed to go looking for the videos. Sorry 😮
54:29 “Revisit of ‘No Man’s Sky’”? Did they change the name? Hope they don’t get sued for that by HelloGames… 🤣😂 Anyway, we know what you meant… just lookin’ out. Keep up the great work (obviously no mistakes here) on the vids, Spanj…
When played it first and only time, I stopped half way. Several game mechanics that does not suit what I like with games. Among some: Too much parkour and fiddling getting stuff and tech, salvage resources becomes repetitive boring, almost no automation. The update might improve a bit, along have learned some game mechanics and "tricks", so I maybe try a fresh start.
There is some automation now. I haven't played the latest update but previous versions had one of my pet peeves, ie the grinding and it being a hunger game rather than a survival game. The gameplay loop of having to satisfy hunger, thirst & sleep just got too much for me to.. err.. stomach. There are some QoL things like improved storage and being able to craft from storage but elements I just couldn't get behind. So as an example you're constantly chasing batteries. You land on a wind turbine to escape a storm. You can't build your own wind turbine to recharge your ship or tools.
@@brolohalflemming7042 Food, water, batteries and other "survival" elements were no big issue for me. Maybe because used to it from other survival games. Proper survival then you should need to do some effort and have challenges, at least in the starter phase. Where automation (or better stuff) should begin to be available from mid to late game, so use less time on mundane tasks important for giving some starter challenge.
Damnit Spanj, have mercy on my wishlist!
To be fair, not having fuel is certainly another way to avoid crashing
Just bought this based on this video. Had no idea this game even existed. Thanks Spanj!!
New sub. Really enjoying this mate. I'll be working through your other vids. Thanks dude!
What a great game. I'll be going back to it really soon. Thanks for the vid Spanj
WOOT!!! i loved the last playthrough, this is going to be great!

Moving around on a moving craft? Utter insanity, who would ever believe such a thing
Eagerly waiting for this one.
I played through it the day it came into early access and I remember it ended in a bit of a cliffhanger. Really curious what they added :)
👍
I really enjoyed this game when it came out but i havent played in a while.
Revisiting this game is more than welcome.
Wait, they got another update? Cool. Will have to play again tonight.

I generally lock them to 60 so i'm not over taxing the graphics card for no reason

Looks great but it is still a bit too soon post Covid for me to play virus games :)

We could ask Liz Truss?
@@Spanj Beaten by a cabbage, right. But i don't think she got any answers.
Elion let us walk on ships wehn is moving xD

Revisiting No Man's Sky???
Yes, just not sure when! might be a Wednesday thing but need to figure it out on the fly
@@SpanjI think that comment is referring to your statement near the end you said "I hope you enjoyed this revisit of No Man's Sky" at around 54:28
Is the game fiddly about falling off?
but alot smaller ,with less to do
Spanj are you assumign this AI robots gender ????
