She posted the video online, on multiple personal accounts, where millions upon millions of people saw what she did. It’s absurd, and probably staged. It actually makes me sick that people buy into this crap. If she was selfless, this recording would not have ended up on TH-cam. She obviously had someone record it in the audience, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to link it to her various social media accounts.

The most important thing to me is that she was aware of her environment even when she was performing. She took the time to stop and follow through. The gentleman was also watching the encounter and followed through. We can see and do so much in our community if we just take the time to stay alert, pay attention, and follow our heart with kindness and generosity. Blessings to all three of them.

Yes, but she could have let him get the free food as well and take the money for his next meal. Why not let him get what he can when its there. At least then the money would be a bonus instead of only getting him what he was already getting, untill someone insisted that it wasnt acceptable to her. But yes, that was nice of her. Doing what you can to help is the right thing to do and obviously she got instantly reimbursed. Hopefully the mans situation will change, as a result, as sometimes an act of kindness can restore hope and give someone the will to show kindness to someone else, and that can have a ripple effect. This is a world of competition and just because you take the necessary steps doesn't mean you'll make it. Starting a business or working up in an already established business is usually how people become rich without family ties. But starting a business takes a lot of up front money not everyone has. And working up means limited positions available the higher you go, and if they are taken, then you're just shit out of luck. Not to mention the immense competition. Lastly, people can get rich with investments, and that basically gambling and can be up to luck, like if a hurricane blows through or how we all saw a pandemic strike the world crashing economies. So what are the "necessary steps" that can make us all rich? Sounds like you're saying people aren't rich because they don't work hard enough when you said "you sit back and wish to be rich". I know hundreds of examples that disprove that. The world is full of people that break their backs everyday and never make it out of poverty. It just happen to me all the time , Yesterday I helped a poor man that was selling some stuffs in 3 degrees cold , and just after that when I get into the bus , my cart wasn’t charged but the driver allow me to take in , also after that I get a really good chance for tennis competition that I was looking for about 6 months
This never happens to me. I’ve been to the darkest creases of the worlds anus so I sympathize greatly with addicts and homelessness etc. I drove by a man passed out on a public sidewalk with a bottle of mouthwash next to him. I instantly remembered the days I had to drink that to make the withdrawals go away so I thought “even if he goes and buys regular alcohol, that’s way less harmful”. So I went and took out $60 and pulled up asking if he was ok. No answer. I got out of my car and said “I have money for you” and he instantly perked up. I made him zip the money in a close pocket so he wouldn’t get robbed or anything if he passed out again. I noticed he wasn’t wearing a shirt under his coat so I asked if he wanted some clothes (I have an older brother and old clothes from exes). He said yes. I told him to wait and essentially gave him an entire new wardrobe. Even my favourite large bedtime shirt. But when I was giving it to him, there was this new girl sitting beside him with a shopping cart that had a box of something at the top. So I dunno if I got hustled but God doesn’t seem to notice anyways.
This is not a good practice to live by. Way more often than not they will either forget your generosity or outright fail to provide it. Never be generous with the intent of getting something back.

I don’t understand why I’m so moved by this gesture.. I’ve eaten out of the trash before! It wasn’t a terrible thing then nor is it a terrible thing now. But something about the heart of the gesture struck my soul. It's a difficult one to approach with people because their only focus is on the deed and not the psychology of the giver. Often people will pretend like it was a completely selfless act while simultaneously doing what this girls done, which is to use it as leverage to plug her social media accounts and tour. She then gets to reap the benefits of all the praise she's receiving, meanwhile, the homeless person in the video is still retrieving food out of bins.

There is something called the bystander effect, (i just learned of it in psych, so apologiesif i butcher this) the effect happens when a group of people, or a crowded area witness someone who is in a real struggle. In the minds of these people the sense of responsibility a person has to help the person in the struggle is decreased, usually believing others will come to help. If someone specifically is asked to help that sense of responsibility grows.

This is a world of competition and just because you take the necessary steps doesn't mean you'll make it. Starting a business or working up in an already established business is usually how people become rich without family ties. But starting a business takes a lot of up front money not everyone has. And working up means limited positions available the higher you go, and if they are taken, then you're just shit out of luck. Not to mention the immense competition. Lastly, people can get rich with investments, and that basically gambling and can be up to luck, like if a hurricane blows through or how we all saw a pandemic strike the world crashing economies.
So what are the "necessary steps" that can make us all rich? Sounds like you're saying people aren't rich because they don't work hard enough when you said "you sit back and wish to be rich". I know hundreds of examples that disprove that. The world is full of people that break their backs everyday and never make it out of poverty. Usually people aren't rich because they worked hard, usually it's because they exploited other people to do the break breaking work they didn't want do to make them the profits or they were born into a situation that gave them opportunities others didn't have

Yesterday I helped a poor man that was selling some stuffs in 3 degrees cold , and just after that when I get into the bus , my cart wasn’t charged but the driver allow me to take in , also after that I get a really good chance for tennis competition that I was looking for about 6 months
This never happens to me. I’ve been to the darkest creases of the worlds anus so I sympathize greatly with addicts and homelessness etc. I drove by a man passed out on a public sidewalk with a bottle of mouthwash next to him. I instantly remembered the days I had to drink that to make the withdrawals go away so I thought “even if he goes and buys regular alcohol, that’s way less harmful”. So I went and took out $60 and pulled up asking if he was ok. No answer. I got out of my car and said “I have money for you” and he instantly perked up. I made him zip the money in a close pocket so he wouldn’t get robbed or anything if he passed out again. I noticed he wasn’t wearing a shirt under his coat so I asked if he wanted some clothes (I have an older brother and old clothes from exes). He said yes. I told him to wait and essentially gave him an entire new wardrobe. Even my favourite large bedtime shirt. But when I was giving it to him, there was this new girl sitting beside him with a shopping cart that had a box of something at the top. So I dunno if I got hustled but God doesn’t seem to notice anyways.
Oh I also bought a car for my addict friend and he pretends he doesn’t know me now.
This is not a good practice to live by. Way more often than not they will either forget your generosity or outright fail to provide it. Never be generous with the intent of getting something back.

It's a difficult one to approach with people because their only focus is on the deed and not the psychology of the giver. Often people will pretend like it was a completely selfless act while simultaneously doing what this girls done, which is to use it as leverage to plug her social media accounts and tour. She then gets to reap the benefits of all the praise she's receiving, meanwhile, the homeless person in the video is still retrieving food out of bins.

There is something called the bystander effect, (i just learned of it in psych, so apologiesif i butcher this) the effect happens when a group of people, or a crowded area witness someone who is in a real struggle. In the minds of these people the sense of responsibility a person has to help the person in the struggle is decreased, usually believing others will come to help. If someone specifically is asked to help that sense of responsibility grows.

@@TrainsAndSirens I saw her live a couple years before the pandemic started and I kid you not it was one of the best days of my life. I love her music and personality, she's adorable and very human towards everyone.

It’s heartbreaking to see someone have to dig through a trash can to get food for the day. I try to give as much as I can, when I can. It’s a blessing to be a blessing, always!
