Hi my name is Kathleen Laurel Sage and I am a textiles artist, tutor and designer with 20 years experience.

This weeks video is continuing to focus on using the soldering iron and free machine embroidery. We are looking at making a textured background with all the scrap pieces of organza, or new pieces if necessary :-). Next week we will look at adding the 3D elements to the panel and I will talk you through sewing over wire.

I used a clear acrylic dowel rod and invisible machine thread to attach it on to the dowel . x
