Also cps is nothing to play around with and depending on the case each one is handled different. Unless it's a extremely bad situation where they need to take the child right away, cps will monitor things and do visits. If your kids end up in the system and the parent is trying to get them back then they have to go to court and parenting classes. Also the foster care system isn't perfect as there are just as many that get abused in the system as there are not in the system. Sometimes it's not abuse but a bad situation the mother is in like poor housing or being homeless. This girl is lucky she didn't call and open that can of worms cuz she seems like she has a good life now. She could have lost it over a stupid prank. I'm not even sure she appreciates her mom.
