Two ideas: turn on wifi automatically after start driving, it would be nice to people that doesn’t have premium connectivity. The second one, avoid the automatic tint review mirrors whilst under 10-20kmh when you have the lights turned on. It’s annoying when you are parking.
@@Alberto-pg4zy the WiFi one will be a real game changer. It won’t tempt me to get premium connectivity again. Turning on the WiFi every time it’s not terrible (if you are driving for more than 5 minutes), but it’s a similar situation to the speeding beep. I can do it every time, but it is awesome if it would be done for me.
A few feature ideas: automatically turn off Joe mode when going above a certain media volume. That way you can better hear blinkers and other notifications, so it would improve safety. For convenience, automatically turn on air recirculation for 20 seconds after using wind screen washer, to prevent the smell from coming into the cabin. Some newish VW cars have this feature.

Hi, I love your product! Could you consider adding a feature to limit speed? This would ensure that while driving, my speed doesn’t exceed a set limit. I use a similar feature in my Mercedes, and it’s incredibly helpful for avoiding unintentional speeding and traffic tickets. 😊
I can't wait for the update. Being able to choose my own colors for chill/sport sounds awesome, especially when combined with the kickdown feature. I'll switch to dim red (chill) to bright purple (sport) so I know when kickdown is active.

Just got my knob today! One cool feature would be to be able to turn the dial while driving to use the L/R turn signals. This way you could rest your hand on the knob and spin it either way to avoid needing to find it on the wheel. Right now I have it set to a button press but just turning the knob would be easier/more intuitive. Or I may just end up getting the new stalk...
Nice update! I would like to have more tiles on the screen, like one or two more rows. For us with bigger screens that like to see a lot of data 😊 Kepp up the good work! ❤
One more big thing for Autopilot NAG! Delay the ambient light warning so that it doesn't come up immediately with the "standard" autopilot NAG prompt. I usually notice the prompt even without ambient lights blinking but it would be great to have the ambient lights as the elevated prompt in case th3 NAG warning is on for prolonged period of time. The current implemention gets quite annoying since it is flashing blue with every NAG. Turn it ON only when the car itself starts the "blue haze on screen prompt"... or if that event cannot be read from the car, just put a timer there. Simply give the driver a chance to react to the NAG without the whole car blinking 😄.
Oh yes this right here. Maybe an option to delay the led flashing a few seconds after initial nag or just sync it with the timing of the screen starting to flash 🙌🏼
@@tomolomox889 It might be better not to use a timer because for example when the card detects you staring into your phone, it goes immediately into the elevated prompt. So if it is possible to read those different events from the CAN bus, it would be better to start blinking when the elevated prompt is detected. S3XY guys will know if that is possible or not 🙂.
I just love your products! Congrats for doing this. About the MAX AP, I would like to choose from the app menu if I want to drive with the speed limit or to pass it by 10% percent. I also saw the 55 speed limit on AP 😁 It doesn’t bother me but let’s increase it with another 5km 😂 An automation for this function to increase the speed by itself would also be nice 😁 I’m dreaming about a feature. I don’t know if it’s possible to do or not, but I saw that you can control almost all functions in a Tesla so I will tell you. Engine sound would be a very nice touch for a little fun 😅 I tested that function on a BMW and it sounds very good.
Can you explain the AP Max , can't really seem to get what it should do, is it ser the AP to the speed limit? Also I have noticed that the car slows down when it sees a new speed limit but not the other way, or?
I think having the Highland gives a few of the features already, but I have nbow picked one up as it opens up far more control of other parts of the system. Thank you.

This is awesome. Could you add an additional option to the light strip blind spot detection where, when you put the blinkers on, it does Not change the current lightstrip color, and it only goes to red if something is detected? It seems less intrusive. Thank you.
Just ordered the commander combo in the Black Friday sale. Really looking forward to its arrival. I use an aftermarket hud on my 2022 Model 3 at the moment, but each major Tesla update breaks stuff on it. I like that you are able to adjust your system software to account for the software changes made by Tesla. I’m really happy your system has a “hud mode”. My hud has its own reflector screen (and stand alone led screen) so doesn’t suffer from ‘ghosting’ caused by the inner and outer layers of the windscreen. For systems that use the windscreen as the reflector, there is a clear film that can be put on the inside of the windscreen that cuts down the secondary reflection. So all is not lost if the ghosting cannot be solved by font changes.

Just got my new buttons and I was a bit skeptical at first of its usefulness, but I'm quite loving it now! One big setting that seems to be missing though is toggling the suspension mode on the new model 3 performance. It seems the existing suspension settings are only for the s/x. It would also be great to have an ambient light indication when this setting is changed by a sexy button. I also wish there was a toggle for the display's auto brightness as I find myself toggleing that off every night
Awesome company guys and love the things you've been doing. I'm a new Tesla owner and I hope I'm not commenting on anything that's been discussed in the past. Appreciate the minimalist nature of the display mode, but could you add a clock option that can scale? Every clock in the Tesla is tiny and hard to see easily IMO.

Just received and Installed the commander + buttons in my new M3. Can't wait to test continuous AP and have the blinkers/wipers within a press of a button.
Very usefull update, thanks! One suggestion regarding ‘auto high beam’, I use it a lot and the matrix headlights work great, but.. when driving in urban areas I turn it of because I’m blinding pedestrians, shining in houses, etc. I would like to have the option to automaticly turn it of when decelerating below a set speed (50km/h for example) and automaticly turn on when accelerating above the set speed.

Sort of unrelated to this video: but here's an idea: it would be really cool if you could design some kind of integration with an LED light strip that changed colors with the speed of the car. Something that could interface with th commander/speed it's providing. Then the user could customize, so they would have another visual indicator when they're approaching a set speed, or if they're going super fast, turning red/purple whatever.

Great work, as usual! Adding functionality to ambient lights is genious. Customizing the color will be a step further for me as I am colour blind (haha!). BTW, could you have presets for limiting the speed of the car? For example, configuring different speed limit presets X, Y, Z, etc.. and then pressing the button/knob/dashboard will impose a speed limit of X, Y, Z, respectively. I really miss the option of having a speed limit in my car.

Hello, you're doing a great job! A suggestion: The knobs in the app can only be marked with letters, but with the buttons scattered around the car you no longer know which button was 1 or 2, etc. Even pressing a button doesn't help. It would be good if you could see in the app which button you just pressed
For the passenger seat profile, why you don't assign it to the door open ? door open > profile 1 (easy access), door close > profile 2 (driving position).
Well, what you are talking about is an automation. Currently we have done it as a feature so it’s under your control. After we see that it works great we will make cool automations with it 🙂
Can you create driver profiles? Meaning: all the settings of the knob and commander and buttons are linked to driver profiles A (as active in the car). But my significant other has different seat presets, different Tesla settings and… would like to have different knob config, different commander settings etc. Maybe I want the autopilot resume but he doesn’t want that. It would be very cool if you could detect the Tesla activated a different driver profile and your solution does the same. 🎉
Hi, I love the new ambient light features. I wish if you can turn on the lights when we there is someone in the driver seat. Here in Chile we can drive in daylight with lights on, and its required in highway, and I always forget to turn them on, and when I do manually, its anoying to turn them off when I leave the vehicle.
I would love an automation to turn on auto recirculation and turn on rear passenger climate everytime I drive the car. Right now I have it as a shortcut in my knob but it would be nice if it's done automatically.
Order them last Monday 😬 I’m from Spain, roads are really good. Some stretches of road can be bumpy but it would be posible to use the ver low feature (I had a Y so I won’t use it haha)
Thank you for the update. - Couple of suggestions for the dash view: - Please make the side flashing green (on turn signal) optional. It's annoying and unnecessary as you already have the green "bubble with arrow" for this. The yellow and red side warnings are great though! - Please add a screen option with larger font for speed. Or even better have an option to change/alter the font yourself. - Also a night mode with red (instead of white) would be nice option. And to top it off, make it automatically switch to night mode when car detects "night time". - Finally a bonus: A true Night Mode á la SAAB would be cool. You know, way back SAAB 900 used to have a night mode where it would switch off all other lights in the cockpit and even dash except the lighting behind the speedo. This was to have minimal distractions when driving on dark northern country roads in the pitch black of winter. (I know I need to cover the whole damn center screen, but I'm working on that, as Tesla doesn't design/test their cars for Nordic countries.)
Hi. Please make sure to play around with the app. There is an option to turn off the green blinking. You chose it yourself in the app. About the automatic switching from bright to dark - this is also inside the dashboard. You can set it to light , dark , or auto. It will switch on its own. About turning off all the lights - this is not possible. We cannot turn off your screen

Can you implement something like automatic media selection? Like, select USB as media source. Lately, the car doesn't play music automatically anymore and shows "Choose Media Source" instead (your car does it as well at 19:09) and I have to select USB manually each time when starting a drive which is very annoying - maybe it's a bug in Teslas software, IDK. It certainly didn't do this before. I'm now on 2024.38.7 and it happens every single time.
Is it ok to disconnect the front motor and drive only with the rear motor for a longer period of time? Does it help with consumption? Can Tesla service people realize that I did this? Would this affect the car warranty? Or the most important question: does installing the commander affect the car warranty? thanks!
Would love to have a more permanently solution for a Heads Up Display, which would work just as good in day as night driving. Proper HUD is something i really miss from my BMW. I would love to have that again in my new Tesla M3 Highland :)
This convinced me to pull the tigger on the knob and buttons instead of waiting for the stalks to come out. I hope I can get a standalone stalk later on rather than a stalk with commander
It would be great if the sexy knob screen could change based on speed rather than gear. For example, at low speeds, it could display the hazard light button, at medium speeds the blinkers, and at higher speeds (typically on the highway) the autopilot feature buttons. I really hope you consider my suggestion, as I believe this would be a very convenient feature
@ Thank you for your reply. I have added some basic use cases at the end of my previous message. Speed generally depends on the situation and the type of road. As I explained earlier, for example, on a highway (higher speed), I would expect the autopilot menu to be accessible. At low speeds, I would like the option to set regenerative braking or use the hazard lights. In the city (medium speeds), I would expect access to the blinker controls. These are just a few use cases, and I believe this approach makes more sense than focusing on gears

Hi Guys, can you please have a look at the blinker behaviour whilst in “Continuous Autopilot”. Even with auto cancelling ON, often it only blinks 3 times and it tries to re engage autopilot mid lane change which makes loud beeps and jerks. Thanks

Sorry, but the gen1 Commander does not have this possibility. If we could we would. We made the gen1 Commander 4 years ago way before the Highland was created 😢

I know that might be a stupid question but is there a way to make adaptive highland suspension go even softer (ofc at own risk) like you did with S and X. It would be very cool cuz sometimes you know you won’t be driving like a maniac and it’s safe to make it more softer with longer travel. Idk if that’s possible but it would be a game changer for Performance owners like me where 20’ wheels take some comfort from the ride and the softest setting is not soft enough imo. I have a problem with the presenting trunk. I always arrive to do groceries and then activate it, then grab empty shopping bags from the trunk and then leave. When I come back, I guess because I opened the trunk it deactivated the presenting trunk. So I have to set it to always to be able to use it

Hi, what about locksounds? And unlocksounds + easy change the sounds by app and implement wav files to choose directly from the app. I think the current way on the tesla to set it up is kinda annoying and only for locking the car.
We own our M3 SR for roughly 2 month now and received a knob and buttons yesterday. Amazing features, app works flawless so far. Very impressed by the outstanding customer tailored update policy. A function to seperately control the ceiling lights is what seems missing and our little son would love that feature to be implemented😊.
Switching gears on touch screen while moving back and forward can be little tricky. Is it possible to change the ambient lighting to blink while the gear is in reverse? Just to prevent 'busy' drivers from crashing in to walls.. Ordered buttons and commander from South Korea and I am very excited!
Thanks for the update! I've been using the Autopilot MAX button on the knob a lot. It works very well, but one huge annoyance with is that quite often it will engage the highly annoying Rainbow Road easter egg. I'm not sure if there's some way to disable the easter egg altogether.
Here’s an idea: how about designing an indicator stalk? You’ve got the tech for it already. Just make it simple, adhesive to attach to the steering column. You’d sell tons of them!
Have you changed the Fog Light Icons on the Knob? Currently they are all the same, whether front, back or both. Also it still flickers. Would be nice if that get fixed and if the rear daytime running light comes back without flickering.
Please fix the rear passenger door half-press unlocks charge port functionality! This was my number 1 used feature, It's a pita if you don't have a tesla charger at home and you have to open the app to unlock it every single time you get in! Alternatively, replace it with something else: When I'm at home, and my car is locked and the charger is plugged in, if I open a door, automatically unlock the charge port.
The function still works. But the rear port of your Tesla is not giving power to the Commander when you are outside of the car. Just change it to long pull and it will work again
He already answered that question in the video. Basically, Tesla let us control the LED strip as one, and sadly there is no way to control each strip individually. If Tesla ever update the car and make such a fine control available, the S3XY team will definitely make it compatible. But don't get your hopes too high, we don't even know if it's even possible: for all we know, the strips may be all connected together which would make it impossible!
Short feedback on the ambient lights: is there any chance that the brightness can be adjusted or stay on the same brightness as is set in the car? I've set my regular LED brightness fairly low, but the AP nudge as well as blind spot detection are crazy bright (feels like full brightness?), which for me, at least when driving in the dark, is a bit too much (not necessarily blinding, but close). Got the knob for my M3P highland yesterday :-) 10min installation I only miss these features 1 button wipe (like on steering wheel) Profile button function (to change suspension, wheel weight and acceleration mode in one) Customizable colors for the new ambient light function for acceleration mode (today it is predefined) Automation to always go to max og autopilot instead of manual pressing it. Solid quality product! I love it already with the anti-nags, autopilot resume... Sad that the LED isnt segmented for the blinker function, but thats just how it is
Hello, I have the knob and its great. I've noticed for the shift menu, sometimes when I turn the knob it doesn't go all the way from drive to reverse and vice versa and lands on park. Is it possible to make a modified menu that is left turn -> drive, right turn -> reverse, and press again ->park? That way I could shift without having to look at the knob to make sure the right mode was selected.
It sounds like you are turning the dial too fast. If you slow down by 1/3rd of a second this will not happen. But soon we will have a custom submenus where you can put the features you want 🙂
The Update is great, love the ISA mute and also the ambient light feature. BUT: I need more battery stats for the S3XY App. Battery Voltage and Amps would be so cool to see. That way, I could get rid of Scan my Tesla and solely use the S3XY App. 🙏
Hi! There is the green traffic light beep sound, but two problem with it in EU. You have to start at yellow traffic light because if you dont you get horn. And if you stop too close to the light you cant see from the seat but the camera in the windscreen see it well. Somehow cant you mirror the front camera view to the app when stop at traffic light? Or send alert when the light turn yellow? My car was EQC before Tesla and when i stop at traffic light it mirror the front windscreen dash cam to the Dashboard lcd and i can see the traffic light above the car.
Extremely useful and happy with commander and knob. I use the kickdown feature regularly, but can you not reduce the reactiontime? It takes too long after kickdown to go to full power (M3P 2021) Any other ICE car with kickdown reacts in less than a second, currently 2-3 seconds is too slow for me :-(
Come on. It does not take 3 seconds 😄 Just set the activation to start at 90% , not on 100. Sorry but this is how the car does it. It is not coming from us
Is it possible that the ambientlights only blinking red when a car is detected in the blind spot and it dosn't blinks green when the turn signal ist activated but is no car in the blind spot. I mean it should only blink when there is a car while blinking and not when there ist no car?
I bought the knob on your sale but there is one thing that it doesn't do that I wished it ato automate and that is that when I park the wipers would go into wiper service mode. Why do I want this in the winter? Because when i defrost my car i can have wipers that actually work as in the northhen hempsphere where I and many of your customers live the weather in the winder sometimes melts the snow and ice and then it gets into the wiper blades and then they are useless without using alot of wiperblade fluid to thaw them. I wish there was like a winter mode that activated this and who knows what else that is very good for cold weather.... I usually remember to turn this on but it is cumbersome and very easy to forget to do. This isn't just a convineance thing it is for safety and also for the environment thing that Tesla should have fixed but maybe you guys can IDK?

This can be done via a third party app to turn on your phone's hotspot already via Android. It can be set up on iPhone aswell

Hi, I love your product! Could you consider adding a feature to limit speed? This would ensure that while driving, my speed doesn’t exceed a set limit. I use a similar feature in my Mercedes, and it’s incredibly helpful for avoiding unintentional speeding and traffic tickets. 😊

Just got my knob today! One cool feature would be to be able to turn the dial while driving to use the L/R turn signals. This way you could rest your hand on the knob and spin it either way to avoid needing to find it on the wheel. Right now I have it set to a button press but just turning the knob would be easier/more intuitive. Or I may just end up getting the new stalk...
But you can do that. This option already exists in the accessibility tab 🙂

One more big thing for Autopilot NAG! Delay the ambient light warning so that it doesn't come up immediately with the "standard" autopilot NAG prompt. I usually notice the prompt even without ambient lights blinking but it would be great to have the ambient lights as the elevated prompt in case th3 NAG warning is on for prolonged period of time. The current implemention gets quite annoying since it is flashing blue with every NAG. Turn it ON only when the car itself starts the "blue haze on screen prompt"... or if that event cannot be read from the car, just put a timer there. Simply give the driver a chance to react to the NAG without the whole car blinking 😄.

Oh yes this right here. Maybe an option to delay the led flashing a few seconds after initial nag or just sync it with the timing of the screen starting to flash 🙌🏼
@@tomolomox889 It might be better not to use a timer because for example when the card detects you staring into your phone, it goes immediately into the elevated prompt. So if it is possible to read those different events from the CAN bus, it would be better to start blinking when the elevated prompt is detected. S3XY guys will know if that is possible or not 🙂.

About the MAX AP, I would like to choose from the app menu if I want to drive with the speed limit or to pass it by 10% percent. I also saw the 55 speed limit on AP 😁 It doesn’t bother me but let’s increase it with another 5km 😂
An automation for this function to increase the speed by itself would also be nice 😁
I’m dreaming about a feature. I don’t know if it’s possible to do or not, but I saw that you can control almost all functions in a Tesla so I will tell you.
Engine sound would be a very nice touch for a little fun 😅 I tested that function on a BMW and it sounds very good.
We will work more on the AP max feature. Maybe offsets will come one day. 🙂

Can you explain the AP Max , can't really seem to get what it should do, is it ser the AP to the speed limit? Also I have noticed that the car slows down when it sees a new speed limit but not the other way, or?

I use an aftermarket hud on my 2022 Model 3 at the moment, but each major Tesla update breaks stuff on it. I like that you are able to adjust your system software to account for the software changes made by Tesla.
I’m really happy your system has a “hud mode”. My hud has its own reflector screen (and stand alone led screen) so doesn’t suffer from ‘ghosting’ caused by the inner and outer layers of the windscreen. For systems that use the windscreen as the reflector, there is a clear film that can be put on the inside of the windscreen that cuts down the secondary reflection. So all is not lost if the ghosting cannot be solved by font changes.

Just got my new buttons and I was a bit skeptical at first of its usefulness, but I'm quite loving it now! One big setting that seems to be missing though is toggling the suspension mode on the new model 3 performance. It seems the existing suspension settings are only for the s/x. It would also be great to have an ambient light indication when this setting is changed by a sexy button. I also wish there was a toggle for the display's auto brightness as I find myself toggleing that off every night

Appreciate the minimalist nature of the display mode, but could you add a clock option that can scale? Every clock in the Tesla is tiny and hard to see easily IMO.

I have a suggestion that I did in my current car via OBDeleven. Is it possible to only unfold the mirrors once we select D? Just because of you forget something in the car, the mirrors will fold, unfold, and fold again. Keep up the good work

One suggestion regarding ‘auto high beam’, I use it a lot and the matrix headlights work great, but.. when driving in urban areas I turn it of because I’m blinding pedestrians, shining in houses, etc.
I would like to have the option to automaticly turn it of when decelerating below a set speed (50km/h for example) and automaticly turn on when accelerating above the set speed.
So over 50 - high beams on Auto. Under 50 on Off?

Sort of unrelated to this video: but here's an idea: it would be really cool if you could design some kind of integration with an LED light strip that changed colors with the speed of the car. Something that could interface with th commander/speed it's providing. Then the user could customize, so they would have another visual indicator when they're approaching a set speed, or if they're going super fast, turning red/purple whatever.

Great work, as usual! Adding functionality to ambient lights is genious. Customizing the color will be a step further for me as I am colour blind (haha!). BTW, could you have presets for limiting the speed of the car? For example, configuring different speed limit presets X, Y, Z, etc.. and then pressing the button/knob/dashboard will impose a speed limit of X, Y, Z, respectively. I really miss the option of having a speed limit in my car.
is there any possibility that when the car is parked you can turn off displays and to turn off any kind of noise pump,or any noise ventilation.To be dark and silent and only to chill with music?

A suggestion: The knobs in the app can only be marked with letters, but with the buttons scattered around the car you no longer know which button was 1 or 2, etc. Even pressing a button doesn't help. It would be good if you could see in the app which button you just pressed
If you can see it in the app. Also, you can rename the buttons in the app as well. I like writing mine based on the position they are placed 🙂
For the passenger seat profile, why you don't assign it to the door open ?
door open > profile 1 (easy access), door close > profile 2 (driving position).
Well, what you are talking about is an automation. Currently we have done it as a feature so it’s under your control. After we see that it works great we will make cool automations with it 🙂

Can you create driver profiles? Meaning: all the settings of the knob and commander and buttons are linked to driver profiles A (as active in the car). But my significant other has different seat presets, different Tesla settings and… would like to have different knob config, different commander settings etc. Maybe I want the autopilot resume but he doesn’t want that. It would be very cool if you could detect the Tesla activated a different driver profile and your solution does the same. 🎉

I wish if you can turn on the lights when we there is someone in the driver seat. Here in Chile we can drive in daylight with lights on, and its required in highway, and I always forget to turn them on, and when I do manually, its anoying to turn them off when I leave the vehicle.

I would love an automation to turn on auto recirculation and turn on rear passenger climate everytime I drive the car. Right now I have it as a shortcut in my knob but it would be nice if it's done automatically.

Thank you for the update. - Couple of suggestions for the dash view:
- Please make the side flashing green (on turn signal) optional. It's annoying and unnecessary as you already have the green "bubble with arrow" for this. The yellow and red side warnings are great though!
- Please add a screen option with larger font for speed. Or even better have an option to change/alter the font yourself.
- Also a night mode with red (instead of white) would be nice option. And to top it off, make it automatically switch to night mode when car detects "night time".
- Finally a bonus: A true Night Mode á la SAAB would be cool. You know, way back SAAB 900 used to have a night mode where it would switch off all other lights in the cockpit and even dash except the lighting behind the speedo. This was to have minimal distractions when driving on dark northern country roads in the pitch black of winter. (I know I need to cover the whole damn center screen, but I'm working on that, as Tesla doesn't design/test their cars for Nordic countries.)
Hi. Please make sure to play around with the app. There is an option to turn off the green blinking. You chose it yourself in the app.
About the automatic switching from bright to dark - this is also inside the dashboard. You can set it to light , dark , or auto. It will switch on its own.
About turning off all the lights - this is not possible. We cannot turn off your screen

Light/dark switching works. Thanks! - But I was referring to the "red night mode" that I suggested. Thay would be cool to have white-on-black during day and red-on-black during night. (Personally I never use light background in car, not even during daytime.)

Can you implement something like automatic media selection? Like, select USB as media source. Lately, the car doesn't play music automatically anymore and shows "Choose Media Source" instead (your car does it as well at 19:09) and I have to select USB manually each time when starting a drive which is very annoying - maybe it's a bug in Teslas software, IDK. It certainly didn't do this before. I'm now on 2024.38.7 and it happens every single time.

Is it ok to disconnect the front motor and drive only with the rear motor for a longer period of time?

Would love to have a more permanently solution for a Heads Up Display, which would work just as good in day as night driving. Proper HUD is something i really miss from my BMW. I would love to have that again in my new Tesla M3 Highland :)

It would be great if the sexy knob screen could change based on speed rather than gear.
For example, at low speeds, it could display the hazard light button, at medium speeds the blinkers, and at higher speeds (typically on the highway) the autopilot feature buttons.
I really hope you consider my suggestion, as I believe this would be a very convenient feature

Speed generally depends on the situation and the type of road. As I explained earlier, for example, on a highway (higher speed), I would expect the autopilot menu to be accessible.
At low speeds, I would like the option to set regenerative braking or use the hazard lights. In the city (medium speeds), I would expect access to the blinker controls.
These are just a few use cases, and I believe this approach makes more sense than focusing on gears

Hi Guys, can you please have a look at the blinker behaviour whilst in “Continuous Autopilot”. Even with auto cancelling ON, often it only blinks 3 times and it tries to re engage autopilot mid lane change which makes loud beeps and jerks. Thanks

The Led trick is very nice. It would be perfect if we can change light intensity depending day/night. Full brightness for daytime and reduced for night

I know that might be a stupid question but is there a way to make adaptive highland suspension go even softer (ofc at own risk) like you did with S and X. It would be very cool cuz sometimes you know you won’t be driving like a maniac and it’s safe to make it more softer with longer travel. Idk if that’s possible but it would be a game changer for Performance owners like me where 20’ wheels take some comfort from the ride and the softest setting is not soft enough imo. Great video btw keep good work. My knob and commander with all that new stuff made my car even better so thank u guys ❤

I have a problem with the presenting trunk. I always arrive to do groceries and then activate it, then grab empty shopping bags from the trunk and then leave. When I come back, I guess because I opened the trunk it deactivated the presenting trunk. So I have to set it to always to be able to use it

A function to seperately control the ceiling lights is what seems missing and our little son would love that feature to be implemented😊.

Switching gears on touch screen while moving back and forward can be little tricky. Is it possible to change the ambient lighting to blink while the gear is in reverse? Just to prevent 'busy' drivers from crashing in to walls..

Thanks for the update! I've been using the Autopilot MAX button on the knob a lot. It works very well, but one huge annoyance with is that quite often it will engage the highly annoying Rainbow Road easter egg. I'm not sure if there's some way to disable the easter egg altogether.

Here’s an idea: how about designing an indicator stalk? You’ve got the tech for it already. Just make it simple, adhesive to attach to the steering column. You’d sell tons of them!

Have you changed the Fog Light Icons on the Knob? Currently they are all the same, whether front, back or both. Also it still flickers. Would be nice if that get fixed and if the rear daytime running light comes back without flickering.
Please fix the rear passenger door half-press unlocks charge port functionality! This was my number 1 used feature, It's a pita if you don't have a tesla charger at home and you have to open the app to unlock it every single time you get in!
Alternatively, replace it with something else: When I'm at home, and my car is locked and the charger is plugged in, if I open a door, automatically unlock the charge port.
The function still works. But the rear port of your Tesla is not giving power to the Commander when you are outside of the car. Just change it to long pull and it will work again

Autopilot max works on the screen very easy. Just push the traffic sign and your Tesla will accelerate to that speed… So no need for using the knob.
It would be great if the LED strip could be divided and when you put the indicator on the left or right, only that part would light up.
He already answered that question in the video.
Basically, Tesla let us control the LED strip as one, and sadly there is no way to control each strip individually.
If Tesla ever update the car and make such a fine control available, the S3XY team will definitely make it compatible.
But don't get your hopes too high, we don't even know if it's even possible: for all we know, the strips may be all connected together which would make it impossible!
Short feedback on the ambient lights: is there any chance that the brightness can be adjusted or stay on the same brightness as is set in the car? I've set my regular LED brightness fairly low, but the AP nudge as well as blind spot detection are crazy bright (feels like full brightness?), which for me, at least when driving in the dark, is a bit too much (not necessarily blinding, but close). Great update, thanks guys!

I only miss these features
1 button wipe (like on steering wheel)
Profile button function (to change suspension, wheel weight and acceleration mode in one)
Customizable colors for the new ambient light function for acceleration mode (today it is predefined)
Automation to always go to max og autopilot instead of manual pressing it.
Solid quality product! I love it already with the anti-nags, autopilot resume...
Sad that the LED isnt segmented for the blinker function, but thats just how it is

Hello, I have the knob and its great. I've noticed for the shift menu, sometimes when I turn the knob it doesn't go all the way from drive to reverse and vice versa and lands on park. Is it possible to make a modified menu that is left turn -> drive, right turn -> reverse, and press again ->park? That way I could shift without having to look at the knob to make sure the right mode was selected.
It sounds like you are turning the dial too fast. If you slow down by 1/3rd of a second this will not happen. But soon we will have a custom submenus where you can put the features you want 🙂

BUT: I need more battery stats for the S3XY App. Battery Voltage and Amps would be so cool to see. That way, I could get rid of Scan my Tesla and solely use the S3XY App. 🙏

Hi! There is the green traffic light beep sound, but two problem with it in EU. You have to start at yellow traffic light because if you dont you get horn. And if you stop too close to the light you cant see from the seat but the camera in the windscreen see it well. Somehow cant you mirror the front camera view to the app when stop at traffic light? Or send alert when the light turn yellow? My car was EQC before Tesla and when i stop at traffic light it mirror the front windscreen dash cam to the Dashboard lcd and i can see the traffic light above the car.

Extremely useful and happy with commander and knob. I use the kickdown feature regularly, but can you not reduce the reactiontime? It takes too long after kickdown to go to full power (M3P 2021) Any other ICE car with kickdown reacts in less than a second, currently 2-3 seconds is too slow for me :-(

Is it possible that the ambientlights only blinking red when a car is detected in the blind spot and it dosn't blinks green when the turn signal ist activated but is no car in the blind spot. I mean it should only blink when there is a car while blinking and not when there ist no car?
Yes, it is possible to be configured in such a way with our app.

I bought the knob on your sale but there is one thing that it doesn't do that I wished it ato automate and that is that when I park the wipers would go into wiper service mode. Why do I want this in the winter? Because when i defrost my car i can have wipers that actually work as in the northhen hempsphere where I and many of your customers live the weather in the winder sometimes melts the snow and ice and then it gets into the wiper blades and then they are useless without using alot of wiperblade fluid to thaw them. I wish there was like a winter mode that activated this and who knows what else that is very good for cold weather....
I usually remember to turn this on but it is cumbersome and very easy to forget to do.
This isn't just a convineance thing it is for safety and also for the environment thing that Tesla should have fixed but maybe you guys can IDK?
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We are staying away from this feature at the moment since it does not work smoothly. It can trigger the wipers to go down when you come back to your car and we are afraid that this will scratch the rubber of it

It s possible to link driver seats adjustment with steering wheel adjustment profil? Or to could quickly adjust steering wheel?

So for non highland owner wanting blind spot alerts is there any way to add sounds through the commander if the blinker is on and a car in a blind spot similar to what most ICE car have?
