Ok, Allison, I'm gonna call you a "WITCHY WOMAN"!!!!! I literally, earlier today, was getting frustrated that there were no good front gear cover installation videos out here and was considering emailing you to ask a question about it! I have a CM570 that I'm doing my VERY FIRST OVERHAUL on and had to "grind" some compound off the back side of the front gear cover...thus I wondered what it was! Voila! In the first 1:12, you're answering my question about what to use! WITCHY WOMAN!!! Quit reading my mind...you ain't fixin' to like everything you find there!!!!! LOLOLOL Keep the vids coming!!!!
I use gasket goo, my buddies hate it they say you don't need that it makes a mess, I tell them if you ever had to tear something apart again and put it on anyway to stop a leak you would use it too. Don't know about ISX but the old 855 if you did not have the deck height right the liners would jump and head would start to leak, I like the idea you keep them high, A lot of people say that after market piston and liners don't hold up like Cummins is that true? We use to lay the engines down on an angle to put pistons in.
Honestly I would never understand spending 300k on any equipment unless I’m making more than what a top gross driver makes to get that in my pocket after bills, exc if I have that amount available. No way. 35k and another 65k in a rebuild and interior/suspension just as beautiful.
Hey Allison, How can I get a question answered about my fuel pump? I have a Cummins ISX15 2012 motor but I don’t know if the fuel pump has been changed or not.
@@mikefromyoutube1167it's the plungers breaking inside that is the worry, if I'm not mistaken. I was driving a (2014 model maybe) Peterbilt 587 in 2017 that had the plungers break into tiny pieces and destroyed the motor. I'm buying a 2018 KW T680 and need to get my fuel pump looked at, for a peace of mind. 647k on my truck so far.

I like the single cans when it comes to working on them but dual seem to last longer

No the pluggers could need to be replaced too if they are white
