- I went to Ibrox to see this SPFL Premiership clash which ended Rangers 1-2 Celtic.
Aaron Ramsey put Rangers ahead before Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers secured the three points for Ange Postecoglou's men. The title is now FIRMLY in Celtic's grasp!
Celtic already won the Premier Sports Cup this season and are on course to pick up the league. Rangers still have the Europa League to play for.
Celtic & Rangers will meet again soon to contest the Scottish Cup semi final at Hampden Park. Crunch time now!

At Ibrox celtic had a full end and were allowed right up to their fans during and after the game etc.
At parkhead rangers fans put in the corner and rows and rows of stewards not allowing rangers players anywhere near.
Also it was the same number of away fans which when you consider the 10,000 capacity differences means the proportions weren't equal.
If Celtic had switched Rangers to the full stand behind the goal to the right of the tunnel at Parkhead and hadn't instructed their stewards to behave the way they did, it wouldn't have been an issue.

@@LewisGrant1888 the long sides of the pitch (north stand at parkhead I think it is) hold far more than the ends. e.g. 7500 (broomloan end Celtic used to get) isn't 25% of 50,000. Whatever way the sections had to be organised to have Rangers fans prominent and right behind the goal and have 9,000 tickets (equal 15% proportion as the 7500 Celtic fans at Ibrox used to have) to have an equal influence was the only way it was workable and sustainable.
It was an unfair arrangement and eventually the party who were worse off got sick of it. It was inevitable.
It doesn't matter when we play at Ibrox we have the same amount of fans at half time anyway they leave as soon as we start winning lol 💚🍀

Hope you get to a Glasgow derby at Celtic Park. There will be a bigger crowd and even more passion. Nothing compares to it and players like Messi and Iniesta agree.
The Rangers* fans are known as "Scotland's Shame"... You seem to have edited the broken bottle threw on to the Celtic 18 yard area & the numerous stewards required to comb the grass to retrieve shards of broken glass... A Celtic physio, in the dugout, was also hit on the head by a bottle thrown by Rangers fans & required several stitches in the wound... this follows a litany of unsavoury incidents involving the old (original) Rangers fans ie 2008 UEFA cup final (which they lost) & their fans pitch invasion in the cup winners cup final 1972 when the game had to end prematurely & the trophy awarded in the changing rooms... absolute hallions.
Another great video, hope you can get a ticket for the Celtic Park game. Good on you for all the coverage of Scottish football. One little gripe is that you made no mention of the smashed glass bottles which delayed the second half. Pretty big incident to leave out. That aside great job and all the best.

I was watching this thinking - this might be an interesting piece of objectivity from within the Rangers fan base. So I was saying to myself: I wonder what will be his take on the horrific fan behaviour? What will the fans around him be saying? Will there be any expressions of regret or disappointment? But yet no footage of the glass bottle being thrown, or having to pick up shards of glass all over the penalty box, projectiles landing all round the Celtic player trying to take a corner, physio requiring medical treatment having been hit by a projectile. Interesting that you edited all that out. Surely that is a big part of the story of the day. Still an interesting video, but I think you let yourself down with your selective editing.

Others with sites who have been to celtic park are scared to speak too much get involved with the crowd esp if celtic are being beaten the bile and hatred comes flying out .Do you remember one celtic fan pulling out a blade and slashing a fellow fan in the dear seats hospitality part of the ground at a champions league game a few years ago.After a celtic v Rangers a battle erupts between celtic fans in the merchant city 1 got his throat cut and a few others got stabbed i could give you another 5 incidents involving these fans pubs in the gallowgate losing their licenses because of stabbings in the pub.When it comes to the crunch celtic fans are as bad as us never kid yourself mate .
@@leggie65 I've not been to any Scottish football so can't really say what the atmosphere and the bad fans can be like. But I think it's safe to say all clubs have an element to them that the decent fans wouldn't want to be a part of.

Whilst allocating a whole stand to the away team was a bit OTT, having the away crowd in its current size is pathetic and both clubs need to INCREASE the away end. Ibrox can allow Celtic to have like Dortmund's crowd at Ibrox and Celtic should let Ranger have some of the 2-tiered stand too next to the away end in the corner. GREAT VID!
Sevco started this 700 hundred away fans pish but throwing broken glass bottles onto the pitch is an new low for them. I heard the Celtic pyhsio needed stitches after a fan threw a glass bottle at him.
rangers had half of the 2 tier stand before the allocation cuts, your lying to yourself if you say they didn't as it can clearly be seen in many pictures, google Scotlands Shame banner and you'll see exactly where they got, the whole thing is because we get a full stand and they want a full stand which isn't possible as 3 of our stands are connected and the one that isn't is for directors, press, players family and some home fans, they complained about getting a corner when they got from the corner to nearly right behind the goal which covers nearly half the 2 tier stand, after the fans actions today I don't think they will even be at the next league game v us, if our board has any balls they'll with hold their allocation.
Celtic were always willing to allow 7.5k as it used to be, but Rangers fans wanted more than 7.5k
or wanted them in an area that's not logistically possible, that's down to the police & council.
Semi final at Hampden on the 17th. 50-50 allocation for that game

Very annoyed by the result, especially 1-0 up after 3 minutes and that really good start for the first 15 minutes. A couple mistakes at the back is what caused their 2 goals. Not good enough that we can score a lot of good goals, assist really good goals and play good football to create chances but play dodgy at the back. If we want to be a good and dangerous team we need to be good at every possession. Forget the result for a second, really happy you got to go to an old firm derby and that you enjoyed all the atmosphere and had a good time. I enjoyed watching the vlog
That’s an understandable comment, Rangers came out the blocks, and, Juranovic was looking a bit vulnerable and They exploited that perfectly.
Celtic however, seemed comfortable letting you play a wider game, and, I’d say that was a bit of a mistake, as CCV and Starfelt mostly seemed ok with that.
No doubt, Morelos was a big loss, Roofe certainly wasn’t sharp in the box, positionally , so, goals I felt would always be a problem.

I love your channel I really do, I think you do a fantastic job of showing how Scottish football is so much more than just Celtic and Rangers.
I think it was a really bad idea to be standing in the Rangers end for this game though. It is impossible to portray an impartial view at a game where you are probably the only neutral at the game, I do fully understand that you genuinely are neutral.
However your neutral stand point should have included the information that the Celtic physio was hit by a glass bottle from the Rangers end, that required him to have stiches and caused a considerable delay at the start of the second half, as large pieces of glass were strewn over the penalty area.
Please keep feeding us your amazing content, but please call out the fact that serious injury was caused by fans of a club who seem to be stuck in the dark ages.

@@irenemccann7032 Celtic fan here, there is hate on both sides. There are many fans on both sides from family’s who have both mixed Protestant and catholic backgrounds, really shouldn’t come into it. The hate runs deeper than religion though and it’s just another stick to beat the other with. Don’t get the bottle throwing, the broken glass could quite easily have seriously injured a rangers player or the bottle could have hit one of their own fans. Absolute joke though I won’t get on a high horse about it because the same kinds of things have happened at parkhead before. Some folk really need to put a lid on the violence or there needs to be harsh sanctions against anybody doing stuff like this inside a stadium

There is no "old firm" The Scottish courts made sure of that in 2012.

We did play terrible at the back and we can't play good if we can't play good for every possession, but the referee was still shocking. Two stonewall penalties from handballs and I don't even know how many fouls they done that should've been a red card but not even a yellow card

Rangers had a six point lead at the turn of the year. The Celtic transformation has been phenomenal. No Rangers player would get on our sub bench apart from maybe McGregor let alone a first team place. That is the gulf in quality. We had five top players come on from the bench, and kept to our game plan throughout. No dropping of intensity, total concentration.
It is not our title just yet, one game at time. Great time to be a Celt though.
